Mr. Mahesh, words can't describe the sense of identification I am enjoying with your article. A very well worded and clearly put-together article which shows how much hard are these so called political experts (Arnab Goswami, Barkha, Pranav Roy etc) are doing to the population.
Please keep posting more articles as though surprising, the quality of articles posted is in tandem going down with the quality of media outlets.
I congratulate Mr. Mahesh for right a well balanced review of ongoing TV channel debates. Its true most of the time the anchor dictate their view and tries to put his/her words in the participant mouth.
Vir Sanghvi of Hindustan Times is a totally biased Male pros titute goon waiting for anybody from NDA to be on bed of nd tv. N Ram of Hindu got nicely from DMK Maran yesterday on nd tv. Inspite of that rebuke, sad faced N Ram went on bringing BJP into his comments say communal. Usually decent analysis come from Shaker Gupta (Indian express). Not to mention, Spinmaster award goes to Manu Sanghvi of congress.
I have been closely following discussions especially on CNN-IBN and NDTV as well as other channels. Every single sentence of this article hold true in today's time. The so called anchor journalists just dictate the show. If you have seen Sagarika Ghose Nidhi Razdan or Barkha Dutt conducting discussions, you will realize that. Whenever they want to cut the speakers off, they cut them off. They interrupt when the person on the opposite end is speaking. Agreed that they are bound by time-limits but then when they ask question to someone, at least let that person given you an answer. The worst among them is Sagarika Ghose. She always introduces her own views in the debate instead of remaining neutral. If there is a BJP spokesperson, she will divert the debate at some point toward secularism. Actually, Ravi Shankar Prasad in some of his interviews stated very clearly about this bias. He told Sagarika when she was arguing with Ravi after Modi won in Gujarat. He said that Sagarika, everyone knows that you hate BJP and Modi so lets not go there at all. He told Vir Sanghavi that Vir, your antipathy about BJP is well known. And finally, few days back he told Barkha that Barkha, if you don't want to let me answer your question or respond to comments, please don't call me from next time. And then Barkha Dutt let Ravi answer her. The point is these debates just create more and more confusion. Even the spokesperson never give clear answer and carry on usual Tu-Tu Main-Main. Hopeless.

Excellent yaar. U told the right thing. This is what happening with our indian medias. They have predefined views and they want all others to fall in their line. All these medians are puppets to the Congress/UPA.
