Very soon all signs of Hinduism Ashok chakra Lotus may vanish In a move that touches the pit’s bottom, UPA has changed the emblem of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Lotus and shining Sun to Cross and Crescent. And this has been done in the name of “broader reflection of national ethos.” Board of Governors of KVS in its 79th meeting held on 26.6.2008 approved the new logo and a circular was sent to all offices and schools of the Sangathan on July 17, 2008, to change the emblem in all the publications and communications. Though the chairman of KVS, HRD Minister Arjun Singh did not attend the meeting, the minutes of the meeting stated that the emblem has been approved by the chairman. His deputy Shri Md Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Minister of State, HRD & Deputy Chairman, was also not present at the meeting. circular issued by the Asst. Commissioner (Acad I), KVS, said “in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology & social changes taking place in the society” (sic) the new emblem has been created. The picture shows a book with blank pages, and apparently two human forms emerging from globe. The crescent (an Islamic symbol) and two crosses and stars (Christian) are obvious. UPA govt released coins of Rs 2 denomination with cross on them. There is move to change our national motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’
On religion language north-south basis Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces. It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule. Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.
Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.
The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

Yes, after doing so much of mischief and dividing the people on caste and communal basis, the Con party has the gall to call itself secular and accuse BJP of being a communal party!Isn't the Con party a real fraud?
India needs a strong nationalist party BJP to govern India. Our international relations are at all time low. This country is surrounded by enemies. Pakistan, Bangladesh, China. Relations with Srilanka and Nepal have taken U turn now. Our strongest ally Russia is keen to gel with China then us. All we have is business relations with USA (in favour of USA) and thats it. MMS government is feeling proud of Nuclear deal and ignoring everything else. The situation inside the country is worst than even. Maoist and ULFA in north-east, Orissa, Karnataka, Nepal etc. J&K is bleeding as always. Terrorist strike all around the country. No No for congress thank you very much. Congress is complete failure in my view. BJP should be in otherwise this nation might reach at such a juncture that it will be all down hill there won't be any coming back.

I assume you understand politics enough. There was no intention by Mayawati to prosecute him, but wanted to keep a bargaining chip open. By filing harsh cases and later by allowing the same administration to do teh shoddy work and then challenge the decision by court, she is playing for votes but keeping options of post poll alliance open. She will not stop at anything to become a PM so that she can puther statues in Delhi
Since the case against Varun was false and politically motivated, it met its natural end-That of being dismissed by the appellate tribunal!
Varun should file a case against Mayawati and the DM concerned for defamation and lodging a false complaint against him.
Varun is all set to win by a record margin at Pilibhit today! He should be given a berth in the cabinet which is likely to be formed by the BJP on 16 May. This will be an appropriate way to groom Varun as future PM of India, say in 2019 or so!

I have no doubt his winning election. Varun needs to mature for political position and should be careful not to be used as instrument in the hands of others.

Good idea!Let Italians go to their motherland, fatherland or whatever it is.It will be good riddance for India!
Why Maya is not sacked NSA who is blaming Varun for her personal vendetta even now in SC, misusing the seat of power, creating law and order situation in the State at voters cost. She has always played a politics of hatred, which is anit democratic.
This report speaks of goof up. But what about the facts? Here is the text of the report: - Pointing out yet another serious flaw in the detention order, the report adds, " The detaining authority has also overlooked the fact that the detenu had already been admitted to jail at 1430 hrs on March 28, while the alleged incident of violence took place at the jail gates at 1445 hrs, which was evident from the contents of the FIR itself. There was also no allegation of any role of the detenu in the said incident." When there is no basis how is there a legal goof up? The basic legal goof up is in the fact that there is no case and the Mayawati administration has acted in a high handed manner.

Ms Mayawati should pay the price for her illdeeds. I am sure this time , indeed she would pay through her nose.

Con party and other pseudo-seculars including the commies, will not do anything worthwhile for the poor and the illiterate. They want to keep them that way because only then they can exploit them.Only BJP has a development agenda for Bharat. All BJP-ruled states are doing very well.
