Burn Ravan's effigy to celebrate BJP's loss
by Bharat Soni on May 14, 2009 02:49 AM  | Hide replies

India should celebrate the victory of good (political parties other than BJP) over evil (BJP) by burning Ravana's effigy like we do on dussehra. Effigies of Ravana Advani, Kumbakarna Naidu and Megnadh Modi should be burnt all over India day after tomorrow.

Blunders of oldie Vajpai government
by Vijender on May 14, 2009 02:36 AM

Blunders of the oldie Vajpayee, worst Primeminister of India are as follows.
1. Could not manage the defence deals in a proper way and introduced corruption in defence ministry.
2. Leaking of internal knowledge to stock traders close to the BJP.
Mismanagement of educational books and changing history
3. Inefficiency in handling terrorism
4. Lack of support for agriculture and farmers ended up committing suicides.
5. Corrupt leaders and murderers were allowed to join the cabinet. Could not kick out Modi even after he confessed to mass murder.
6. Foreign relations were at its lowest point due to the dark image of BJP. Could not gather global support for nuclear test and allowed pakistan to conduct nuclear test as well. Now we are in the critical situation where pakis nuclear weapons cud fall in talibans hand.
7. Were sleeping and allowed pakis to enter our soil officially during kargil and attack us. If not for well structured army, India cud have faced significant loses.
Many more blunders by vajpai and his team. Better to hide them under carpet. Or future generations will laugh at us if we remind them about it.

Congress would have won more than 300 seats
by Raj Adhikari on May 14, 2009 01:15 AM  | Hide replies

Congress would have won more than 300 seats if 26/11 terrorist attacks have had not happened. Indians have a great respect for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and really appreciate all his policies, be it foreign relations, investment or defence. I really want to congratulate Dr. Singh for leading by example. He will go into the history of India as one of the best Prime Minister ever. I would also request him to concentrate more on improving our intelligence and strengthening our commandos and police forces. India cannot keep responding to our enemies for their foolish attacks but we as a strong nation could avoid casualties if we have better intelligence. The attacks by our enemies are proof of their frustration as we are growing fast and are on our way to become a developed country.

26/11 could not be averted as we had enough blasts and attacks on civilians also before this. ppl like you are shamelessly supporting a party that failed to provide minimum security

MMS is a pseudo intellectual and a puppet in the hands of this lasy. He has to get a clearance even to go to toilet from the Maino and you are saying that he can lead the cabinet. what a trash!

Guess what would be UPA’s next move if they cling on to pow
by annamalai on May 14, 2009 12:58 AM

Very soon all signs of Hinduism Ashok chakra Lotus may vanish In a move that touches the pit’s bottom, UPA has changed the emblem of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Lotus and shining Sun to Cross and Crescent. And this has been done in the name of “broader reflection of national ethos.” Board of Governors of KVS in its 79th meeting held on 26.6.2008 approved the new logo and a circular was sent to all offices and schools of the Sangathan on July 17, 2008, to change the emblem in all the publications and communications. Though the chairman of KVS, HRD Minister Arjun Singh did not attend the meeting, the minutes of the meeting stated that the emblem has been approved by the chairman. His deputy Shri Md Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Minister of State, HRD & Deputy Chairman, was also not present at the meeting. circular issued by the Asst. Commissioner (Acad I), KVS, said “in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology & social changes taking place in the society” (sic) the new emblem has been created. The picture shows a book with blank pages, and apparently two human forms emerging from globe. The crescent (an Islamic symbol) and two crosses and stars (Christian) are obvious. UPA govt released coins of Rs 2 denomination with cross on them. There is move to change our national motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’

plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Balaraman on May 13, 2009 10:47 PM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

What do we expect more from Dr. Singh and his team ?
by Sirisha K on May 13, 2009 09:02 PM

Congress led UPA government headed by Dr. Singh did a commendable job in their last term. The whole world appreciates the way Dr. Singh and co handled the economic affairs during the global recession. They were brilliant in keeping inflation under control considering that inflation rate was going up like 25% in most of the countries. But what did the MMS government lack or rather what does Indians expect from them in their next term ? I know for sure that Defence would need a bit more priority considering the fact pakistan is under a big turmoil.
