Guess what would be UPA’s next move if they cling on to pow
by annamalai on May 14, 2009 12:57 AM  | Hide replies

Very soon all signs of Hinduism Ashok chakra Lotus may vanish In a move that touches the pit’s bottom, UPA has changed the emblem of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Lotus and shining Sun to Cross and Crescent. And this has been done in the name of “broader reflection of national ethos.” Board of Governors of KVS in its 79th meeting held on 26.6.2008 approved the new logo and a circular was sent to all offices and schools of the Sangathan on July 17, 2008, to change the emblem in all the publications and communications. Though the chairman of KVS, HRD Minister Arjun Singh did not attend the meeting, the minutes of the meeting stated that the emblem has been approved by the chairman. His deputy Shri Md Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Minister of State, HRD & Deputy Chairman, was also not present at the meeting. circular issued by the Asst. Commissioner (Acad I), KVS, said “in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology & social changes taking place in the society” (sic) the new emblem has been created. The picture shows a book with blank pages, and apparently two human forms emerging from globe. The crescent (an Islamic symbol) and two crosses and stars (Christian) are obvious. UPA govt released coins of Rs 2 denomination with cross on them. There is move to change our national motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’

plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Balaraman on May 13, 2009 10:46 PM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

Abusing power is in the DMK's genes
by bimal mohapatra on May 13, 2009 07:26 PM

Abusing power is not only in the DMK's gene but also in all political parties gene. Which party is't abusing the power? Let's examine this aspect in Indian Democracy party wise:The Indian National Congress or popularly called Congress Party - Just a few days ago Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the scion of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty which has hijacked the nation grand old party built by the hard work and sacrifice of lakhs of patriot over years time, admitted that CBI has been manipulated to work as the party in power wants. So also the present Law Minister's observation on the wake CEC Gopalswamy's opposition to Chawla, EC and Congress stooge in Election Commission Office, on CEC. BJP, the party which led the NDA government in power from 1998 to 2004:it abused the power to rescue Rahul Gandhi when he was detained by FBI at Boston Airport with alleged 1,60,000 dollar in cash (in a nation where carrying more than 10,000 dollar need authority's permission) and a Colombian girl for 9 hours in 2001. About our Leftist: this party which was victim of President Rule as the first instance in 1959, forced the imposition of President Rules in all BJP ruled states in the wake of Babri Musjid demolition in 1992. Besides, what they are doing now in Nandigram in WB and in Lovlin bribe cases in Kerala, every body to see. Our regional parties are not left behind in this trade. Mulayam present demand to dismiss the Mayawati government for his party's support,AIADMK's demand for Eelam only during election, etc.

BIASED REDIFF ARTICLES
by Vivek Sharma on May 13, 2009 04:26 PM  | Hide replies

Surely Rediff has employed some Southindian Brahmins and they write very biased articles like this to uphold the superioty complex they have. But they will never win in their attempts. This is make the tamils still stronger.

Brahmins in TN are allergetic to DMK/ADMK. It was Jaya who arrested the kanchi seer for settling her personal scores. BJP is pet bet for brahmins as they deserted congress in post-rajaji era looking for alternatives to dominate.

Jaya is a brahmin. So Brahmins vote for her. Kanchi seer was arrested for his criminal activities. Without valid reason, no body would date touching him.

yes for a valid reason for not agreeing with her friend sasikala in some business purchase. Seer was not arrested for the criminal activity but for non-cooperation with sasi.

it is like the story hatched by Parivar that Hindu daily was purchased by a Brunei based mus1lim businessman to convert everything as anti-h1indu and garner votes.

it is become fashionable to link everthing to europe and other countries for all happening in India.

I don't think so. God himself is a brahmin and he has created world in favour of Brahmins. EVR and Ambedkar discovered this secret and shared this with humanity.
