The PM is already engaged in forming the government:
New Delhi, May 12: In a bid to stitch up post poll alliances, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called up Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, ostensibly to discuss the Kosi relief fund, but sources say these are initial feelers to set the stage for discussions of an alliance.

The Congress has also sent feelers to the UP Chief Minister Mayawati, though Maya has denied that she is in talks with either the Congress or the BJP for a post poll alliance.

s revealed in 2008, Rs 70 lakh crores of money from India is lying in Swiss bank accounts. Even though the German
Govt. is ready to reveal the details of account holders, the Govt. is least bothered to ask for it.On the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the present Govt. gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan. In 2008, the Govt. has given Rs 3000 crores to Afghanistan for nfrastructure development. Developing our own country’s infrastructure did not cross our Govt.’s mind! According to the Comptroller & Auditor General’s report in their official website, Rs 87153.12 crores are missing from Universal service fund, Infrastructure development fund and money allocated for centrally sponsored schemes. What has the Govt. done with people money? In the Rs 10,000 crore medium-range surface-to-air missiles (MRSAM) deal with Israel, the Govt. has suspiciously agreed to pay 6% as ‘business charges’ which comes to a whopping Rs. 600 crore.According to Defense experts, this is simply inflated and illegitimate.

hen Madrasas are being shut down in Pakistan, the Indian Govt. is giving them CBSE status!! Is it not discouraging Muslim children in getting secular education?
Andhra Pradesh Govt. under the directions from Central Govt. has closed down 28000 temples out of 36000 in the last five years.
Our Government has given 25 lakh scholarships ONLY to minority students. What sin have the majority done not to deserve these? Why cannot poor students of all communities be given scholarships?

Md Ali Jinnah - 11th Aug 1947
by Prem Mohan on May 12, 2009 07:41 PM  | Hide replies

The second thing that occurs to me is this: One of the biggest curses from which India is suffering - I do not say that other countries are free from it, but, I think, our condition is much worse - is bribery and corruption. That really is a poison. We must put that down with an iron hand and I hope that you will take adequate measures as soon as it is possible for this Assembly to do so.

Black-marketing is another curse. Well, I know that black-marketeers are frequently caught and punished. Judicial sentences are passed or sometimes fines only are imposed. Now you have to tackle this monster which today is a colossal crime against society, in our distressed conditions, when we constantly face shortage of food and other essential commodities of life. A citizen who does black-marketing commits, I think, a greater crime than the biggest and most grievous of crimes. These black-marketeers are really knowing, intelligent and ordinarily responsible people, and when they indulge in black-marketing, I think they ought to be very severely punished, because they undermine the entire system of control and regulation of foodstuffs and essential commodities, and cause wholesale starvation and want and even death.

I am saying again that i am not a BJP supporter... But you are congress supporter... I am analyzing the present situation and deciding who could give a better governance... I agree that Narashima rao had done lot of good things in this regards.. But the successive like MMS cannot do like because he came directly to that post sir... narashima rao was not like that... He was a Muncipal administrator, MLA, MP and became a PM.... When he puts a order he clearly know how that order will reach the end level.. Besides, he was not persuaded by person like sonia gandhi... But today this is not the case... Today, MMS cannot take any decision without sonia... MMS has not come from low level... As per today's scenario BJP is better to the country... Haven't you seen the last 5 years misrule of congress. They hve been struggling to bring nuclear deal for 4 years... This is what congress.. Today congress cannot take any healthy decision.. Why congress is silent on bangladesh immigrants..? Why congress is silent when china claims arunachal pradesh? Why sonia did not indian citizenship after marrying rajiv gandhi for 12 years...? answer me please... read the situation carefully my dear friend...

BJP ruled states are developing and well governed.
Vajpayee's 6 years regime was a good government for Nation's development and checked on food price rises for all Indian citizens.
Golden Quadruples: Infrastructure development
Sarva Siksha Abiyan (SSA): For providing education to all
Initiated Study panel to link all Indian rivers: For agriculture / economy development
Pokran Nuclear test: To proclaim world that is India is technically capable and changed India’s role in world as dictating country instead just listening country
Good management of economy: Part of India’s loan repaid
Look east foreign Policy: Instead of running behind western countries, concentrate on Eastern countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia etc and get the items cheaply
Initiated Muslim / Hindu leaders dialog: To solve Ayodya issue amicably as the court is delaying its verdict & as 2/3 majority not available to pass a motion like Shawbanu case.
Implementing Laws Like POTA: Which will make the Indian origin people fear to help / support foreign origin Terrorist activities to control terrorism
Abdul kalam as President & George Fernandez as Defense Minister: Shown people that BJP is Secular / Patriotic Indians will always get their deserving positions
Effective control of TRAI: Which made the cell phone network revolution in India
Effective control of Railways: Which become base for current development in railways.

MUMBAI (Reuters) The BSE Sensex extended gains to more than 4 percent on Tuesday afternoon, on speculation the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led group was gaining momentum in national elections.

The BJP, which is perceived as market friendly, is emerging as the front runner in its race with the ruling Congress party-led coalition thanks to savvy alliance building.

That was never 300-400. it was only 30-50 only for a breif period because onion scarcity due to monsoon. Nothing of wrong Govt policy etc.

Ramukaka,

Do you know what is the price of dal 5 years back and the price of the same dal today...? It was 20Rs 5 years back and today it is 55 rs... This is your so called honest MMS achievement... Haven't you seen the cash-scam vote in parliament just a year ago... Have you forgotten that miserable incident... Have you forgotten the sikh-riots in 1984 and out of which the rajiv gandhi said "when big tree falls the earth will shake"... You should be a general secretary of congress somewhere...

I agree with you. MMS is very much interested in tax. After VAT(which is multipoint tax)implementation and add more service into service tax price went up. This is cetainly a pain for common man. Before 1990 I dont see this fast in price change.

That's exactly right my dear desh premi. I am not saying BJP is good party... I am saying BJP is slightly better than congress.. Now to answer you, my dear friend... Black marketing is not possible in free economy... Those are old days my dear friend... Once economy is set to free during narashima rao period black marketing was abolished... So, the reason behind this is because of allowing future trading in net... That is the major cause for price rise which the chidambaram have not abolished till then he was the finance minister...

Is everyone a salaried person? Has average income of poor increased in the same ratio? If you cared to read the article, the village head clearly says, prices of fish that he sells has remained same but prices of pulses and rice (basic staple ) has gone up many times over!

has your salary gone up by 2.5 times in last 5 years? Also, is it a mathematical equation that as salary goes up, prices should go up.

Excellent question... My salary has gone by 40% and the price has gone by 300%... Does this answer your question... I am also working in a private sector... Forget about me... For how many people the salary has gone high like me... You might be working in a IT company or a BPO company... What about other indian companies where the annual increase will not beyond 14%... If you doubt me, please ask some of your friends who are working in that sector...
