Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.
The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news. Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.
CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants Hindus should wake up before getting extinct by the so called secular crooks

You are not an Indian, that's why you are able to abuse other Indians. Its not our culture to abuse our own brothers and sisters of different parts of India. Who the hell you are??
Now PM keeps mum on this genocide From 1949 to 1977 a number of Non-voilence movements by Tamils under the leadership of Mr. Selvanayagam was suppressed by the Srilankan government with force. At that point of time they did not fight for separate nation but for equal rights. Only after Black July riots in 1983 which claimed lives of more than 1000 innocent Tamils, terrorist organization started to gain popularity among Tamil youth's. Genesis of LTTE and similar other outfits can be primarily attributed to the gross injustice of the Srilankan government to Tamils and their "ONLY Sinhala" propaganda. In India equal rights to all citizens is guaranteed through constitution, and political parties are interested in providing more provisions for the minority people. Whereas in Srilanka the government systematically and steadily took measures to suppress minorities. For instance tamil students has to get more mark than Sinhala student to get a place in university. They were also denied opportunity in government jobs. Many basic rights were denied to Tamils. So as long as such social injustice exits, new terrorist organizations would come up with different strategies and would continue to exist without any end. Now both Tamils and Sinhalese are tired of war, all they want is a peaceful environment to live. So devolution of power and providing equal rights and opportunities to all citizens can only ensure durable peace in the island nation
KK Dist had 7 assembly constituencies before reorganisation. Out of that 7, only KK assembly constituency was part of Tiruchendur parlimentary seat. The rest 6 formed Nagercoil parlimentary seat from where the legendary Kamaraj won. Thus the new KK Parliment seat was not carved out of Tiruchendur but of Nagercoil.
This reorganisation (KK Assembly seat has more hindus) along with split in Christian votes will help Mr. Pon Radhakrishnan of BJP to win this election.
