A few hours are left for final phase of election.Congress has realised that their slogan'JAI HO'has failed and UPA is not in position to retain power. In the present uncertain scenario has the congress changed its game plan? It seems so. Congress did not field Dr. Manmohan Singh to contest from any Loksabha seat all over India. The learned economist PM Dr. has to play role according to the script written by Congress chairperson Mrs Sonia Gandhi. Just see the electiion campaign of congress in a cronological order and analyse. Three Gandhis are in centre stage- Smt Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson of INC, Shri Rahul gandhi,one general secretary of INC and Smt Priyanka Gandhi Vadera. Now the focus is centered on Shri Rahul Gandhi. Apart from these three, Dr. Manmohan Singh and Shri Pranab mukharjee were also on TV channels, for discharging their duties. No other general secretary could get such importance in campaign in national print and elctronic media. Reason is obvious. The ultimate aim is that Shri Rahul Gandhi should occupy the PM office. To achive this goal favourable conditions should prevail.Till then there should be a stop-gap arrangement.Dr. Manmohan Singh is a better choice provided congerss with allies form the government. But if conditions go adverse, congress may support from outside as it did in past,untill the political atmosphere becoms favorable for Shri Rahul Gandhi. The time span may be a year of two.
