See BJP farmer friendly budget Vote BJP to power
by Kamadhenu on May 12, 2009 04:00 PM

Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.
Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants
Hindus should wake up before getting extinct by the so called secular crooks

Look @ BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years
by aandal on May 12, 2009 03:59 PM

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state. Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.
The Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families @ time of a girl's marriage,
The Janani Suraksha Yojna: economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery
This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP.

Why talk only about Indians. Africans are divided into tribes, each tries to work for its own advantage. The Americans are divided into Jews, WASPs, (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants) Irish, Italians (further into Neapolitans, Sicilians), Blacks, Hispanics (Mexicans, Cubans, rest of Latin Americans)Asians (Indians, Paks,
Chinese, Koreans.

As for Sonia seeing all Indians as Indians, sorry, she "cannot see any one other than her own progeny in power".

1. He will show her who is the man
2. He deserves some rest and Sonia being an Ex Care giver is an expert on it. Dont trust me ask Delhiites they will confirm this.

Janata party started caste based backward castes appeasement.
by nitin sharma on May 12, 2009 03:35 PM  | Hide replies

All those who blame congress for caste based politics should know that when the fist report for reservations was presented by Kelkar commission in sovereign India in 1953, it was rejected then by Nehru cabinet. The real reason for this is the Janata Party which when it came to power in 79, set up the notorious mandal comission...which again was implemented by V.P singh in 90..have you all forgotten the riots?...So, don't blame congress for sustaining casteism in india...

how did you leave out the several attempts made by Arjun Singh as HRD Minister under MMS dividing even the best educational institutions that India can boast of? Be balanced on your views. All are Congress or ex-Congress leaders who have been responsible for the caste based divisive politics

Don't take a view of one member and call it the view of the whole party...Caste based politics and reservations are the brainchild of the janata party and the janata dal.

Sorry, nitin sharma, that was the sole decision of an ex-Congressman called VP Singh, when his government started going downhill. It was a desparate move by a man set to lose power.

Alongwith the Mandal Commission, he also announced that the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) will be a national holiday. I have no quarrels with that, but it was an opportunistic move.

Sonia Gandhi is working hard to strengthen her party. Rahul Gandhi also doing his best to his party. BJP is hell bent on them by magnifying a pinch to a mountain, but BJP not succeeded in their agenda of defaming. By this election Congress will form a govt. in center with the help of his allies. Mr. Advani is a Priminister waiting candidate since Mr. Vajapaye's time and he have to keep continueing his waiting candidacy until 2014 but.... Rahul Gandi will push him to wait further but at that age Mr Advani cannot continue his waiting list....
...............last and lost .............
