They are certainly not going to hide in the jungle.

Dear Ranveer, You peoples dont know the power of Tamil and you guys are behaving like revenge Tamilians. The author mentioned that only LTTE supports/demands independent Tamil Eelam, other Tamil political parties don't. The statement of 'other tamil political parties don't' seems to be not true and the author does not named the tamil political parties (of Srilanka) who oppose independent Eelam.

LTTE,Tamil Eelam will be talked till the end of elections by politicians. After the elections JJ will be resting in Kodanadu estate, KK will also be resting. Elected MPs will be busy in trying to get minister posts or will be thinking how to make money.

A few hundreds people may not sympathise with Srilankan Tamils ( Pro-congress & other Chamchas )..may be for political and personnel gains!!that doesn't mean that people of tamil nadu doesn't support eelam people.

We should not be concerned about LTTE or Tamils in SriLanka as Pakistan should not be worried about people in Kashmir. The tamils in SriLanak are Srilankans .Period. They may want a seperate state, country or whatever, it is their problem.
We should only look at it from a point of view if we can have a peace in SriLanka, because it is to our advantage to have a peaceful neighbour

Only after Black July riots in 1983 which claimed lives of more than 1000 innocent Tamils, terrorist organization started to gain popularity among Tamil youth's. Genesis of LTTE and similar other outfits can be primarily attributed to the gross injustice of the Srilankan government to Tamils and their "ONLY Sinhala" propaganda. In India equal rights to all citizens is guaranteed through constitution, and political parties are interested in providing more provisions for the minority people. Whereas in Srilanka the government systematically and steadily took measures to suppress minorities. For instance tamil students has to get more mark than Sinhala student to get a place in university. They were also denied opportunity in government jobs. Many basic rights were denied to Tamils. So as long as such social injustice exits, new terrorist organizations would come up with different strategies and would continue to exist without any end. Now both Tamils and Sinhalese are tired of war, all they want is a peaceful environment to live. So devolution of power and providing equal rights and opportunities to all citizens can only ensure peace
