These farmers are businessmen, their product food grain they produce and sell. Like any other industry only the very fitnot physically) survives,and most farmers are unfit. Un fit to carry their business, some ofthe fault lies with the system and some is their own. This farmer knowing very well that private money lenders a loan sharks, unlike banks their no set money lending practices and no one monitors their activities they charge what ever interest they feel fit and is always above the base rate of the bank by as much as 200%. yet this farmer has to leave a bank and go private, now whose fault is this his or the governments. Governmet can't set the price of his grain so that it is reach able to the public and profitable to the farmer. But that does not mean that the far should get all the subsidies such as free water and electric. If a farmer can't make a good living then he should look elsewhere for his living. he should try some thing else or develop and modernize his farming methods so that the farm is sustainable and profitable other wise sell and try some other business. THERE IS NO NEED TO SHOUT AT THE POLITICIANS WHEN THE FARMER IS AS MUCH AT FAULT.
Farmers are our ANN DATTAs, If they are dying, then who will survive.They r feeding our whole nation (more than 100 Cr indians). Think! What will be the future of our country? Through these so called ECONOMIC REFORMERs like Manmohan Singh's out of Country? One day they will sell our our nation in the name of Nijjikarn!
