hmm...
by iamhere on May 11, 2009 06:15 PM  | Hide replies

the most important positive impact any religion has to have on a person is "make him happy with whatever he has".. in that way there are only 2 religions which has faulted.. izlam and xtian.. coz these two are teh only ones which went about conquering and plundering other countries and its cultures... hindooz never went about conquering nd all.. they where happy with whatever little things they had....

They might have plundered and conquered, but they also boast of many famous personalities and lot of reformers .I was formerly a follower of the religion of love, then c0nverted to the religion of peace a few years back, but still follow the great culture of the West freely . I know well about both Izlam and Christianity , and both are definitely not as bad as you people think .

According to the HOLY BIBLE, we must love even our enemies .Jesus, when dying , said , "Forgive them, they knew not what they were doing " .According to the HOLY QURAN, if you k1ll even one man,it is like destroying the entire manhood (obviously applies to womin as well) ; and likewise for saving a human

Bhim Sen
For Steve Zillis
by Bhim Sen on May 11, 2009 06:14 PM

Dear Steve,

You are right Hinduism is not a religion. It's a way of life. In fact Hinduism is not our 'word' its the term coined by Persians who called the people living around the river "Sindhu' (now in Pakistan) as 'Hindu' and the belief and their way of life as Hinduism, hence the name Hindustan(to add it in passing the same river was called 'Indus' by Greeks, Indus valley civilization was named after it, British call this land as India after it). However this nation is 'Bharat' and our way of life is 'S@natan Dharma'. We don't have any religion infact. Dharma means rightious way of act and act itself is Karma. Dharma-karma based belief is what is our belief system at the core is. Its some which can't be explained over here... contd.....

Achievements of Congress
by Deviprasad on May 11, 2009 06:14 PM

Even after more than 50 years of Congress rule 70% Indian are poor and do not have social security.
Biggest Defence scam - Bofors by Gandhi family.
Cash for Vote in Parliament – Shame on Congresss
Check the food prices at present in compare to 3 years back, common man is finding problem for day to day living.
Congress is not secular because of it's minority appeasement programs.
Congress is soft on Terrorists, Price Rise and Corruption.

Following are few of the biggest scams in India, that have taken place when Manmohan Singh was in charge:
1- Latest in the news is Satyam Scam which is touted to be the biggest corporate scam of India when Dr. Manmohan Singh is Prime Minister as well as finance Minister.

Aum Company
Please be informed
by Aum Company on May 11, 2009 06:12 PM

The founder of the dynasty J Nehru was to remark that he was "... proud to be reared up an Islamist, an Englishman by education, and a Hindu by accident".
In a letter to President Dr Rajendra Prasad (Nov 17, 1953) Nehru wrote: "The Hindu is certainly not tolerant and is certainly more narrow minded than almost any person in any other country except the Jews".
Read the article by Sharada Gupta in the Indian Express of New Delhi, August 29, 1997 and two articles in The Sword of Truth online magazine (1) A Tale of Two Lals, (2) The Story of Gangadhar, Father of Motilal.
Also do a google search, find books by Mathai, Yunus, and others.
Make your vote count.

What you wanted to tell them about Varun? They reacted last time on Varun speech based on media reports but the authenticity of that speech couldnot be proven. I dont think they will make such hasty statements again.
