Nuclear deal will be messed up...
by Sundaram on May 11, 2009 09:19 PM  | Hide replies

Dr. Manmohan Singh & his team worked real hard over several months to get the Indo-US nuclear deal signed. It is expected that this deal will considerably ease up the power cuts faced in most states. God forbid UPA having to come back to power with the help of the left;they will immediately start fiddling with the long signed up nuclear deal. It will be like their dismantling a decent looking Corolla car and bringing out a three wheeler from the dismantled parts !!

Nuclear deal was a total sell our of our Country to US. The cost of equipments to be imported from US is about Rs. 2,80,000 Crores. The deal will benefit only US equipment manufacturers and a few Politicians/Bureaucrats in India who can earn fat kick-backs. Even the CAG criticized the deal a few days back.

Look you had 62 years to solve the energy crisis in India with most families suffering long power cuts during peak summers and children not being able to study well for their exams.
If your mentors had the solutions to address this problem, why did they not solve it by now ? You see it is very easy to sit on the wall, become cynical and keep criticizing. If you have a better long term solution, why don't you come up with it now ?

Re-establishment of right value systems is a dire need...
by Sundaram on May 11, 2009 09:07 PM

Whichever political party comes into power, India's dire need is re-establishment of cor-rect value systems, which have been consider-ably eroded over the years. Unfortunately, not one political leader is able to show himself off as an inspiring role model for the youth of this country, like Nehru, Radhakrishnan, Shastiji or JP or Dr. Kalam. The behaviour of almost every political leader with his/her crass selfishness, dubiousness, greed, corrupt-ion is the best example of how not to be a role model. Given this, how do we expect the crime rate in the country to come down ?

Third front Govt Possible
by Bob Seth on May 11, 2009 08:00 PM  | Hide replies

Third front Govt Possible

If the left and the regional parties insists and do not extend support too UPA. UPA will be forced to support a third front govt from outside.

This time UPA will also not withdraw support as was the case some years back, as the congress has learnt the moment they withdraw power they also lose credibility and like the last time it will pave the way for a clear NDA majority in the ensuing elections.

If karat can keep his folk together and bargain hard ,UPA will support the third front, Karat should not support the UPA as manmohan is a chameloen and once in power he will use moneybags to buy out parties just like the way he did it during the no confidence motion.

Three frustrated overaged viagra eating politicians of north are bamboozled with their own antics. Dhobhis D.onkey na home ka na ghat ka. They know they cant go back and demand what they were with congress neither they can align with the left because left is again leaning and weaning on congress. They will say everything and go and sleep with the sworn enemies at night. So whatever they say we should take with pinch of salt. Treat the elections like IPL but this one comes only in Five years. Enjoy the show.
