If the left and the regional parties insists and do not extend support too UPA. UPA will be forced to support a third front govt from outside so as to keep the NDA out.
This time UPA will also not withdraw support as was the case some years back, as the congress has learnt the moment they withdraw support they also lose credibility and like the last time, it will pave the way for a clear NDA majority in the ensuing elections.
If karat can keep his folk together and bargain hard ,UPA will support the third front, Karat should not support the UPA as manmohan is a chameloen and once in power he will use moneybags to buy out parties just like the way he did it during the no confidence motion.
the less said about the the nominated PM ( opportunist mamohan ) the better one day he says working with left was like bonded labor. and when he wants to hold on to power he says ,i enjoyed working with left.
one day he says UPA is not one issue govt if nuclear deal is not done world will not come to end and Now i would have resigned if nuclear deal is not done.
Earlier regional parties are hurting indias growth now when he need the regional parties support he starts adulating them.
Congress culture Rahul Gandhi/ manmohan praising Naidu , Nitish one day and if thier objectives are not met castigating them in 24 hours if for all to see.
What is he doing on earth, lived enough, time to go, all oldies must retire, India is young, 65% popultion is below 35, their youthage is being wasted here by old politicians as well as govt. servants, who are retiring at 60.
So many people have not voted this time. Why is rediff so much bothered about that useless fellow's vote? In fact, it is good that an arrogant good for nothing politician like Basu is retired. Only thing he can be credited for is the destruction of economy of Bengal.

Just like it has not been been for Sourav in Indian cricket even after scroring 18000 plus runs !!!! There are so many detractors of sourav Da and also same is true that of bengal!!! Sourav had to fight his way back.... same way Bengal would have to fight their way back!!!

However, I am positive that Bengal would find its way out ...and rise again and learn to move ahead with others ... reform like Russia,China where communists have started going to Church unlike stupid bengali communist who think going to temple is wrong ( stupid idea)
I am sure that things would change for bengal and it is not going to be easy.. Bengal has to regain its past glory then it has to fight back just like Sourav fought back always..

hahaha...as if people of Bengal are living under foreign rule. Who told you that people are not happy with the left rule? Wake up man..people are in fact happy and that's why they have been voting for CPM...go and ask them.
And, who told you that WB is not doing well? Whhat is the source of your information? Do you mind sharing? Go and check RBI data for all states...WB is dong very well in all fronts including industry. Come out of your wrong perception about WB that is at least 15 years old. WB has changed in the last 15 years...verify first before you post..

somnath, no point resorting to this ostrich mindset. if you are one of those indoctrinated and brain washed, then i have nothing to say. but if you are like me, someone who cares for his own people, and has seen the world and other developed states, would be honest enough to accept that 32 years of left rule has harmed the state beyond doubt. and not much has changed in why 15 years, even in last 5 years.

New Delhi: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on Monday seized a Toyota Land Cruiser from businessman Chandan Basu, son of former West Bengal chief minister Jyoti Basu, during an ongoing nationwide operation to unearth a huge duty-evasion racket in imported cars. Eight more high-end foreign cars being used by influential businessmen from different parts of the country were also seized. Authorities are now trying to trace two other cars belonging to powerful politicians, one from Uttar Pradesh and the other from Haryana. The racketeers’ modus operandi was ingenious. The main accused, Sanjay Bhandari, had shown himself to be the owner of two non-existent hotels in Rajasthan. He obtained a licence from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under commerce ministry, for importing luxury cars to serve his ‘foreign clients’ and earn foreign exchange. Under the Export Promotion Capital Goods Scheme (EPCG), Bhandari availed of 100% duty exemption on all imported cars. These vehicles were passed on directly to highprofile customers who, in effect, were buying foreign cars without paying the 105% customs duty that such imports attract. Chandan Basu, for instance, got his Land Cruiser for Rs 40 lakh. Through the legal route, the SUV would have cost him over Rs 80 lakh. Bhandari has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
Mr. Buddhadeb commmented that he dosen't consider Congress party as "untouchable". But dear sir, if we all remember Gandhiji had clearly stated that all Indians are not "untouchable". So, what new thing has our CM tried to touch upon, please?

But you can see MMS as PM of India now (probably the beloved bahu sonia don't like her MIL indira). And india is involved in the internal matters of pakistan to warn killing sikh in pakistan.
Srilankan Tamil Issue: Rajiv Gandhi was killed by LTTE because IPKF killed and raped tamils instead of helping them in srilanka. Rajiv didn't controlled IPKF and he was the root cause of all the trouble, so LTTE killed Rajiv. And thousands of tamils were killed because of Rajiv death and india still helping srilanka to kill thousands. And india will say they cann't involve in the internal matters of srilanka.
