compare srilankan tamil issue to bangaladesh
by Sam Paul on May 11, 2009 10:49 PM

Bangaladesh Issue:
In east pakistan where bangaladeshis are majority didn't had equal rights as other citizens in pakistan. So, they protested and took weapons to defend themselves. India helped them secure a homeland for bangaladeshis. India still have lots of bangaladeshi refugees and they live here happy without any restriction.

Srilankan Tamil Issue:
Srilankan issue is very similar to bangaladeshi issue. Only difference is India don't want to help them. Instead they give weapons to srilankan army to kill tamils in srilanka. Srilankan tamil refugees are restricted to live freely in india and they are in the camp.

compare srilankan tamil issue to sikh
by Sam Paul on May 11, 2009 10:48 PM

Sikh Issue:
Sikh killed Indira Gandhi because they were against sending indian army to sikh's golden temple. Indira Gandhi was the root cause of the problem and Sikh killed Indira. But you can see MMS as PM of India now (probably the beloved bahu sonia don't like her MIL indira). And india is involved in the internal matters of pakistan to warn killing sikh in pakistan.

Srilankan Tamil Issue:
Rajiv Gandhi was killed by LTTE because IPKF killed and raped tamils instead of helping them in srilanka. Rajiv didn't controlled IPKF and he was the root cause of all the trouble, so LTTE killed Rajiv. And thousands of tamils were killed because of Rajiv death and india still helping srilanka to kill thousands. And india will say they cann't involve in the internal matters of srilanka.

compare srilankan tamil issue to kashmir
by Sam Paul on May 11, 2009 10:48 PM

Kashmir Issue:
Where people have all rights as any common indian citizen and even more rights (muslim law and no one except kashmire can buy land in kashmir). But, with pakistan backing, some people are asking for homeland because they have muslim majority.

Srilankan Tamil Issue:
Srilankan tamils don't have equal rights as any sinhalese. They protested to get equal rights in gandhiyan way initially and after amry started killing and raping tamils, they took weapon to defend themselves. They need either equal rights to live in srilanka or a seperate homeland.

What should all the criminals do ?
by Srinath Reddy on May 11, 2009 09:18 PM  | Hide replies

If you are a murderer or big thug, Join BJP and you can become a chief minister or dream of becoming the prime minister. You could misuse the power and make billions of rupees.
If you are a rapist, join Bajrang dal or Ram Sena and you can easily rape and tease girls in the pretext of protection of our culture.
If you are a criminal with anti India feelings, you have many choices. you should serioulsy think about joining SIMI, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, CPI, CPIM and BJP.

srinath garu: which party do you belong to? Are you aware if any political party has not fielded goondas, rapists, murderers, gangsters, land grabbers, illicit liquor distillers. By the way even the smallest of them have goondas representing the parties in some constituencies. Ram Sene, Bajrang Dal are all Hindu organizations who work relentlessly for the Hindu causes as well as other religions. Whenever there is any natural calamity anywhere in India, it is these people and RSS cadres who arrive at those sites first and start the relief operations including performing the last rites for people of different religions as per their customs and also giving a decent burial to the various animals that are dead and carcasses strewn all over those sites. ALl these they do without expecting anything in return. This is called selfless service, unlike Congress which is shameless in asking for Rs.1000 crores to be returned by the Bihar Govt which the central govt had given for the recent Kosi flood relief work. The timing was also so perfect: when they failed to woo Nitish Kumar into UPA, soon after the Bihar elections was over at 5.00 p.m.; the Bihar Govt received a fax from the Centre asking for the refund/repayment. The same government at the Center has been pulled up by the CAG for misappropriation of funds under various govt schemes, which has not reached the impending constituents. Shame on you ECONOMIST PM MMS

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is the King
by Vijender on May 11, 2009 08:21 PM  | Hide replies

JO BOLE SO NIHAAL. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Rocks. The whole world applauds the way he along with his cabinet ministers handled the global economic crisis. India is very close to become the fastest developing nation in the world overtaking China. We do not want to screw this up by having 3rd front or BJP leading our country. Now that Pakistan is going to split into numerous small countries, we have to be extra careful that we stay united.

Vijender: With this kind of an analysis, you should be working with a think tank and the Congress government should use your services for framing their policies. What a nut are you? The Congress govt of Capt Amarinder Singh just filled his own pockets and that of his family members (both immediate and extended) and ofcourse he has to pay his HAFTA to the 1st family of Congress to survive politically and safeguard his chair. It is Akalis and BJP combine which has really worked for overall development. It is for the same reasons that you have mentioned in your post about DEVELOPMENT AND SECURITY that we will need a party like BJP/NDA to come out with flying colours in this election and take the mantle to run this country's administration

Third front Govt Possible
by Bob Seth on May 11, 2009 07:59 PM

If the left and the regional parties insists and do not extend support too UPA. UPA will be forced to support a third front govt from outside.

This time UPA will also not withdraw support as was the case some years back, as the congress has learnt the moment they withdraw power they also lose credibility and like the last time it will pave the way for a clear NDA majority in the ensuing elections.

If karat can keep his folk together and bargain hard ,UPA will support the third front, Karat should not support the UPA as manmohan is a chameloen and once in power he will use moneybags to buy out parties just like the way he did it during the no confidence motion.

Next Gov
by abboral boral on May 11, 2009 07:01 PM  | Hide replies

In this 2009 election ,an unique things may emerge which never happened in the history of Indian parliamentary elections so far
1. Traditional Party Like Congress will lose their base substantially probably this election will give signal the end of Congress party
2. BJP who gained last decade with the name of Ram will get nearly 200 seats on their own .
3. Plenty of young generations in different parties will come to parliament
4. The days of dark horses like Nitish kumar,Raman Sing,Sivraj Chouhan,Gehlot,Modi ,Budhadev will come to power
5. Most of the old leaders will be vanished from the election and parties forever

So the equation will be
BJP-200
JD(U)-17
Sivsena-5
NCP-15
BJD-12
TC -6(since TC will sever Congress due to Left )
LJP-3(being opportunists party
RlD-4
Akali-6
Independant and others 35

do we have 2 Delhis in India. In UP BJP is contesting many seats individually and also in alliance with RLD. BSP will definitely go with BJP, b'cos she will not do business with Congress if Lalu, SP, LJP are with them, though Mayawati may negotiate real hard with NDA (though she may not get much b'cos of post poll alliance, the other constituents of NDA may differ). Rajasthan: BJP is fighting this state by itself and have covered the entire state. Within a few months of Congress rule itself there is an anti-incumbency against Congress govt in Rajasthan and also the electorate want a strong govt in the center obviously for the same 2 reasons: development and security (Rajasthan being a border state, it is more likely to look at security as a big issue). Haryana: there is a strong anti-incumbency factor against CM Hooda's govt and BJP has an alliance with INLD. INLD with BJP support has ruled Haryana in the past and Om Prakash Chautala has a good grip on most of the constituencies. Delhi: This is 1 weak area for BJP b'cos they have not fielded very good candidates in Delhi and also the organization is very weak. Actually they should start building the organization like in the times of Madanlal Khurana to win in 2014. But there is a strong anti-Congress factor in New Delhi, so we may see some tough fights there, also the Sikh angle may bring votes into BJP's kitty. "Ha" get your facts right, analyse like a true politician/ psephologist

It's not the question of who is bad and who is good ,but the situation demands for change and we have do it right now.32 year's is not less time for improvement.I hope do you agree with me.For so many years What are the positive works done by left front? 1.Education - 17th position in India,2.Industrialisation-15 th position,3.Cultural growth - 21 st position,4.Law & Order - Most of the terrorist made thier planning center at WB.
How many indusrties closed in 32 year's?1703 nos.(including small scale ).Now they are crying for Nano. I strongly belive every one should think twice before giving there valuable votes.
