How many will vote?
by Ramnath on May 08, 2009 05:14 PM  | Hide replies

Guys, am working in Bangalore. In TN the voting date is coming May13th, Wednesday. It is exactly on middle of the week. I know, mostly well educated people wont be there at their home-town, because of their job. They has to travel to their native, for this one day voting to do their duty. I inquire to my colleagues and to my friends circle, 80% of guys are not going to their home town to vote. The educated people can able to understand really what is happening in politics, they can analyze and they can give good results in this election. Politicians can cheat very easily the uneducated people by simply showing some money or free things.

Siting in front of computer and commenting will not give any solution. So the folks who are not at their home-town on voting day, at least plan now for your voting. Try as much as possible to go to your home town and please do voting. As educated people we should be the 'path showers' to all others.

I forget to say.. by the way, I am traveling to my home-town for voting on Tuesday, so don't ask how about you... :)

those days it was illiterate old men and women who supportedMGR and spoilt tamilnadu now it is the young who are going to ruin themselves. why dont these youth see kerala where film stars act only on stage no politics. only in TN,AP AND KARNATAKA film stars want to run the state capitalising on the illiterate voters. what a shame.

What is wrong with Tamil voters?

* Why are they electing REEL heroes?

These ACTORS accumulated billions of money from each movie ticket you brought for 100 rupees. Isn't it enough?
Our PARENTS and PROFESSORS are the REAL heroes.

That is true bigotry! Anyone who lives and imbibed the culture of Tamil Nadu is a tamilian. So MGR is always a malayali or is Rajnikant always a marathi or Jayalalitha a Kannada Mysore Iyengar??

Jai, its too enough to be generous ruling Tamilnadu by all people other than Tamilians. we peoples always blah blah on Tamil culture but when come to matters we are being exploited by others. that's what happened in Srilanka and in other states of INDIA.
