In Indian parliamentary election we have seen that sometimes good job do not translate into votes .It happened to BJP lead NDA in the 2004 election .BJP under one of the finest PM Atalji did tremendous job in Infrastuctures ,Nuclear capabilities ,defence preparedness ,Job market ,Investment ,Still they could not mastered the vote count in their favour .This time also UPA under another finest PM Dr Manmohan Singh did very very good job for rural India development ,for farmers ,investment but I believe UPA will not come to power and I am sure NDA will come to power .Its not that I am in favour of either BJP or Congress .This time I find Congress party is no more accepted to Indians for futute even .I do agree that Congress has done yomen service for India development .They gave us two most vital decession like 1991 economic liberisation and 2008 civil nuclear deal which will propel India growth in future irrespective of any Gov comes to power in future .But some how I feel Congress has become old and lazy party and cannot deliver further and cannot create performing leaders any more

he has been getting good relief in his house toilet ... why ask him to use the parliament for these purposes?
The acquittal of Jagdish Tytler, the prime accused in the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, by the CBI should send shock waves across the country.
The CBI’s proclaimed autonomy is a sham. It sought to close the case in 2007 but had to continue the probe. That a Sikh prime minister can silence his conscience and campaign for the party in Delhi is a sad commentary on the moral fibre of our politicians. The Congress party’s dreams of having a committed judiciary is on the verge of realisation.
Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.
The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news. Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.
CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants

I agree with you. Yediyurappa must be congratualted for job well done!
Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.
Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.
The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.
The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level. Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families during the time of a girl's marriage, and Janani Suraksha Yojna: state provides all economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery. This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

Did you know that on the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the Government gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan ? Last year our Govt. has given Rs 3000 crores (600 Million Dollars) to Afghanistan? This, when victims of terror in India have not yet got aid? What's going on? B) Is this Government really secular ?
1) When Madrasas are being shut down in Pakistan, the Indian Government is giving them CBSE status !! It is depriving Muslim children in getting secular education. A Madrasa educated person can get a job in any government office without going through the secular education system. Can India afford to have fundamentalists in government departments? Why cannot the government shut down Madrassas and let Muslim children study with the rest?

we need anjaneya (hindus) to teach Ravana (Congress) a lesson!
I feel happy that BJP ,a party which worries about the well-being of India and PARAM VAIBHAV of Bharat Mata will emerge as the largest party in these elections. Never know,it may even form the govt at its own,as did BSP in UP where every one was conceding that BSP will be the largest party but no one said that it will form the govt at its own.If BJP becomes the largest party with say about one hundred and eighty MPs(180 MPs),all the so called seculars will join hands to debar BJP from power. Those THugs including arch enemies will join hands fearing BJP and will again loot the nation ,again destroy our ethos, our heritage etc.So I pray to God to give BJP majority at its own so that it does not have to take help of any pseudo secular party
Re: Largest Party
by Observer on May 08, 2009 09:04 PM
TDP, BJD - the erstwhile NDA allies - will come back to NDA. They deserted NDA due to pseudo-secular pressure in the first place, otherwise they are natural allies of the BJP.
AIADMK and NCP will join hands with NDA if it is close enough to power.
Even if the BJP does emerge as the single largest party, it will be a non performer as in the last NDA, in the name of communal harmony International manipulators just will not allow bold new initiatives and India will continue to occupy the backseat.
Re: Backseat
by Observer on May 08, 2009 08:44 PM
Congress has been non performer all the time and the worst performer in last five years. BJP led NDA govt was the best performing govt India has ever had.
P.V. Narsimha Rao's govt was without doubt the best among Congress rules (and possibly ties with the NDA rule). Incidently, PVN did not allow any inreference by the Nehru-Gandhi family in his govt.
