My dear friend what a foolish thing you are talking. Congress went on promising free power to all farmers in AP and Mah. Which created a power issue. Power companies went banksupt. Farmers are still committing suicide. In a nation where there is power deficit to the tune of 40% at least BJP is promising to get you power. Cant you understand the root of the problem. Why not more Plutonium based power reactors were put up which are completely indigenous and cheap by Congress in past 60 years of national rape.

shame on Bengalis if...
by Amit Sen on May 07, 2009 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

If the Trinamool-Congresss alliance succeeds in WB, it is a biot on the enlightened Bengal as this combination was responsible for one of the best industries being lost to Bengal and for bloody encounters in Nandigram for months even after the land acquisition move had been abandoned by the state govt.

well said Mr. Banerjee.... I appreciate and support your views as I am from MP and settled in Pune for last 10 years and can feel the difference industrialisation can bring to the society... I think NANO setup would have changed the views on WB and more and more industries would have come but I feel sorry for poor bengalis as politicians in WB dont want them to be educated and earning as this would lead to loss of vote bank... the same is the strategy of congress in other parts of india

Mamta is Chee** nal
by jitendra kumar on May 07, 2009 10:53 AM  | Hide replies

By listening the talsks of rahul gandhi and his ideas, it is as if only congressis have the right to rule india, others are only there slaves, and the congis can say anything to anybody.

Morever the Indians (Minorities and sick secularists) overwhelmingly vote these congis and bring them to power year after year.

Is this is scenario, I wonder Y this futile exercise of conducting the elections. Just ban elections for next 50 years and make rahul baba as pm, his columbian girl freind as maharani of india, and their childrens as PM in waiting.

To this the mamata, is very cool, how many insults she wants god only knows, even after insult she is still with rahul, what a shameless lady, truly she is spoiling the name of bengalis.

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media
Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.
Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants
Hindus should wake up before getting extinct by the so called secular crooks
MMS persides and Sonia/Rahul Decides – this is mockery of Indian DemoCrazy

Look @ BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years
by Kamadhenu on May 07, 2009 10:28 AM

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state. Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.
The Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families @ time of a girl's marriage,
The Janani Suraksha Yojna: economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery
This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP.

Will congress bring back Black Money to Bharath
by gomateswara on May 07, 2009 10:25 AM

NO Congress is not interested as it will expose them
All News channel also bought by them
last year when German govt captured the sensitive data containing 1500 names of thugs having black money accounts in LGT Bank of Liechenstein, it offered Indian govt data free of cost for around 300 Indians who were having black money deposited there.

but, the Congress govt refused the data. They even went to the extent to say to Indian ambassador of Germany that do not ask anything from the Germans. WHY ???.

In May 2008, Advani wrote a letter to Manmohan Singh in this regard but the so called 'honest' PM remained quiet & did nothing.

Few days back they calleD aDvani liar & now they submit to the SC that they know the details.

In the last 62 years in the name of secularism & common man, Congress has looted India to the extent of amount double than its GDP out in the foreign banks.

How can Kapil Sibhal Abhishek singhvi claim that the money cannot be brought back without even giving it a try? Only people with vested interests
I don't know why the Indian vote for such corrupt party !!!!!!!!!!!!.
