Uniform Civil code is the way to go. Minor adjustments can be made where it hurts religious sentiments. But by and large the laws should be uniform and so are the opportunities.
Only Uniform model is sustainable. I do not want to bring the deaths as election issue, we all know kaangress has done a lot of bad in inciting kamunal passions.

The Lankan Tamils are still there because of LTTE only. If LTTE was not there they will be finished decades before. Arms Struggle started in Eelam soil, after seeing all the non-violence methods. My fellow Indians, please don't believe in the Sri Lankan govt's lies... They told only 50,000 civilians were there in LTTE held regions, when LTTE said they are about 1,75,000. After civilians came out of LTTE safe zones, Sri Lanka says 1,50,000 came from there.... This is one proof.

Mr Kannan, recently NDTV invited me for a progam conducted by them. I simply refused them that they are sidelining with SLA. They appear to support congress tooth and nail. If they are genuine why cannot they present the actual suffering of innocent people?

These North Indian TV channels never consider Tamils as part of Indians. 7000 Tamils have died so far and more than 10000 people have been wounded in the so called war in Sri Lanka. None of the above TVs devoted even a single minute for the Tamils. But when a Delhi school died due to ill health, all the above TVs were crying for a whole day about the death and the negligence of the school authorities.
But within a few kilometers of Indian shore, when Rajapakse is involved in ethnic cleansing with the help of congress, no TV takes care because the affected are Tamils. Perhaps they may be financed by Sri Lankan ambassador/high commission.
But they were shamelessly debating whether Prabakaran will be killed by Sri Lankan army, or he will swallow a cyanide capsule. These were the TVs which shed crocodile tears for days and made hay when it was shining when 100s of Mumbaikars were killed on 26/11 exposing the security personnel to great risks.
Beware of these channels. They are blood suckers and whatever they show may be money spinning for them.

He killed the man who said "the earth is bound to shake when a large tree falls" when Sikhs were being killed after Indira Gandhi's assassination. He killed the man who was involved in the Bofors scam. He killed the friend of Italian mafia gangster Quattorochi. Prabhakaran may be a terrorist, so LTTE is rightfully banned. I am not a tamilian but kannadiga.My point is not of defending LTTE. If they are doing wrong, this need to be shown. At the same time they should be showing the plight of ordinary cirizens.
The issue is biased and one sided stories,w hich media should not be indulging. They need to be unbiased, fair and speking the truth.

Congress Dogs have supported Rajapakshe for killing Tamils in all the way by militarily. Keeping decades long economic blocade on its own people, indiscriminate firing on innocents, bombing churches, temples, schools and hospitals, etc, etc,is the order of the day. SLA is adopting new strategy of making people die out of starvation even in concentration camps. This is a clear indication of genocide on tamils as one can interpret under the conventions and protocols for which all member nations are signatories including the Govt of India under the head of Sonia.After Jews, Bosnian muslims now it is Eelam tamils.
