very good deviprasad! but new generation voters are not careful about corruption of congress as most of them are career-oriented and corruption now does not cut much ice.better highlight unbearable price-rise and muslims`appeasement policy of upa.

Beggars

If the Central Government chalk out a plan for the collective progress of all the States, this type of feeling will not arise. Of course all cannot become rich. But minimum standard of living and opportunity to work should be created by the Government. Language, religion, Bribe, Heavy dossage of Taxation stand in the way of this goal.

corrupt country/corrupt thougts/ corrupt ways of treating people
by dranil on May 07, 2009 11:16 AM

I support Surjeet Singh when he says that he is not begging but asking for his rights. But he forgets that we live in a country where only rich and politicians are blessed to enjoy all (and some extra) rights. There are millions like Surjeet singh waiting for justice but we know nothing good can happen for poor and those seeking justice as the whole system is rotten, corrupt and indifferent towards the problems of the nature Surjaeet Singh is talking about. What is serious is that the man served the country for years and even then made to 'beg'. The government acts and behaves that everyone approaching to them with some problems are slaves and what you get from majority offices is abuses and rude treatment. But if Surjeet is willing to shell out a solid sum. we are sure he will get justice, at least in part. That is the only way for him and better he follows that.

...and you think they will do it for you
by akmal khan on May 07, 2009 11:16 AM

Our esteemed Politicians are building websites to publish their agendas and gain votes. Do you think they will actually read any of the above written articles and act ? No. the simple reason is , by solving this issue , they have nothing to gain.so why waste ? They will shadow this story by telling us about unemployment , draught etc where people dont have food or water and make us feel good that we are not in the worst of conditions and we inturn will learn to adapt and live.

Beggers turn into rulers
by kuldip uppal on May 07, 2009 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

These so called leaders from all parties come to us at the time of election begging for votes with tall promises. Once elected to seat of power they sit in their glass towers and make millions as it was seen in their income declaration because in our country there is unwritten law among political parties that what they say in public is only for public consumption but dirty linen is never washed in public, so you save my skin and I shall save yours is hidden agreement among all these politians irrespective of their parties. Therefore courrpt leaders never punished but they prosper in our country.
