Shameful claim
by vorpal on May 07, 2009 03:57 PM

Such a brazen exhibition of caste politics! It shows very clearly the ethos that being an INDIAN does not matter, only what caste, community, creed, sect, cult you belong to does. I am tempted to compare this mentality with what existed at the time of Jagjivan Ram. Although he belonged to a Scheduled Caste, he was universally respected by all and sundry, and, as far as I know, he himself did not need to use the caste card for success in politics.

Will congress bring back Black Money to Bharath
by gomateswara on May 07, 2009 10:12 AM

NO Congress is not interested as it will expose them
All News channel also bought by them
last year when German govt captured the sensitive data containing 1500 names of thugs having black money accounts in LGT Bank of Liechenstein, it offered Indian govt data free of cost for around 300 Indians who were having black money deposited there.

but, the Congress govt refused the data. They even went to the extent to say to Indian ambassador of Germany that do not ask anything from the Germans. WHY ???.

In May 2008, Advani wrote a letter to Manmohan Singh in this regard but the so called 'honest' PM remained quiet & did nothing.

Few days back they calleD aDvani liar & now they submit to the SC that they know the details.

In the last 62 years in the name of secularism & common man, Congress has looted India to the extent of amount double than its GDP out in the foreign banks.

How can Kapil Sibhal Abhishek singhvi claim that the money cannot be brought back without even giving it a try? Only people with vested interests
I don't know why the Indian vote for such corrupt party !!!!!!!!!!!!.

Look @ BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years
by gomateswara on May 07, 2009 09:51 AM

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state. Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.
The Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families @ time of a girl's marriage,
The Janani Suraksha Yojna: economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery
This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP.

Sardar Patel
Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media
by Sardar Patel on May 07, 2009 09:50 AM

Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.
Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants
Hindus should wake up before getting extinct by the so called secular crooks

Beed: Three persons, including a SSC student, has been arrested by the police yesterday allegedly for carrying the bomb blast at Fatima Mosque in Ghatsavli village in Beed district near Aurangabad in April this year.

On April 4, 2009 even as the preparation for the first phase of the parliamentary elections were at its peak, at around 3 am in the morning a blast took place near Fatima Masjid in Ghatsavli village in Beed district. Though there were no casualties, the blast badly damaged the walls of the Muslim worship place. Almost one month after the blast police succeeded in nabbing the culprits who were reportedly behind the heinous crime. Ghatsavli village, which has a population of around 1,500 people, has hardly any Muslim population.

According to the media reports, police have arrested Ashok Sundar Rao Lande (21), Mayur Arun Lande (20) and Tulsidas Radha Kishan Lande (18) all hailing from the same village and who were reportedly hiding in the farmhouse. The accused were produced in the session court yesterday afternoon.

In the past sometimes in 2004, the mosques at Prabhani and Jalna, two neighboring towns, were also attacked by bombs while Muslims were busy in the Friday prayers.

After the blast on April 4, the Imam of the mosque Sayyad Rahee had lodged a police complaint at Pimpalner police station. Taking actions on the First Information Report (FIR), Superintend of Police (SP) Lakhmi Gautam had formed an investigation team led by Inspector Audembar More.

Giving the details of the investigations yesterday at SP Office in Beed, Police Officer Vikas Kohok said that the accused used detonators, gelatin stick and explosives for the blast. He further said that they had run away from the village after carrying the blast but later returned to the village and were hiding at a farmhouse before they were finally arrested by the police.

According to the details unveiled in the press conference, while one of the accused Ashok Lande is a vehicle mechanic, Mayur Lande is graduating in Agriculture Science at Ambajogai located in the same district near Latur.
