Please dont vote criminals. Keep such people off and discourage such people from showing up. They are no grace but are Shame. Kudos to congress for withdrawing Sajjan and tytler. Hope other parties can do this.

your study shows that not a single party or independant candidate is free from criminal charges. no point in just saying that only people who are convicted should not face the electorate.these thugs know how to prolong the cases for decades thanks to our legal system and even die before justice is handed out.hence let us enact laws such that any one who is charge sheeted and undergoing trial should not face the electorate.this will atleast help to keep out atleast 50% of the rowdy elements out of the electoral battle.do our politicians have the will to take such measures.
