You just lost the educated class that you were appealing to come out and vote through your comments on Valentine day celebrations and related issues. You cannot presume you can tell us what to do or even educate us. It is our prerogative what we choose to learn and do. It'll do great to educate yourself on what the educated masses / middle class / intelligentsia want.

Congress is not secular because of it's minority appeasement programs. Congress is soft on Terrorists, Price Rise and Corruption.
BJP ruled states are developing and well governed. Vajpayee's 6 years regime was a good government for Nation's development and checked on food price rises for all Indian citizens. BJP is not against any religion and if it talks to build Ram Temple or protection of Hindus, it does not mean Communal. If Congress & SP supports Muslimpeople then they are secular. Media is biased. BJP is for all religions & castes. BJP never divide people based on caste; like Congress, RJD, BSP and SP parties do for vote bank politics. BJP is for equal rights for every Indian citizen, no appeasement.

In 1985 Shah Bano won a case in SC. After this communal Mslims started demonstrating. To appease these communal parasites, Rajiv, who had brute majority in Loksabha, ammended the constitution to undo the ruling of SC! After this there was resentment amomgst the peaceful secular Hindus. So he opened the gates of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. This resulted in formation of Babri Action Committee. At this stage BJP took advantage of the people's resentment against 'pseudo secular' policies of Rajiv. Rajiv also threw the govt of Farooq Abdulah and rigged the elections in Kashmir, which gave birth to terrorism in Kashmir. Before that Kashmir was peaceful. He also banned satanic verses, even before it was banned in Pak & Iran.
Thus Cong's policy of appeasing communal Mslims since 1985, is the root cause of communal divide in the country. The strengthening of BJP is as a backlash of this communal approach of Congress, who claim themselves to be secular. But Congress don't support secular Muslims like Taslima, Dr Kalam, Salman Rushdie etc.
Kashmiri pundits are thrown out of Kashmir and staying in other parts of India as refugees. Congress questioned even the existence of Hindu God Shriramji and bent to destroy Ram Sethu. Afzal guru is enjoying picnic in the so called jail. Congress has created many mini pakistan and mini Bangladesh in India by giving voting rights and citizen ships to Bangladeshi and pakis and they are now vote banks of congress

The politicians should not try to prove themselves above the country and Law. Right and Wrong has only one definition not the fuzzy logic having GRAY meaning ( something in between ). I appreciate your analysis of the communal trigger. It reminds me about division of Indraprashtha by Bhishma which ultimately gave rise to Mahabharat. Country is above King and above politicians which should never make grave mistakes, diffuicult to correct in the longer run.
L.Ganesan has been around for a while heading the BJP in TN.Unfortunately despite the religiosity of TN people(despite Periyar),BJP has not been able to build a mass base in TN.To do so BJP has to have a local flavour.It cannot reinvent itself easily as there is no space left with AIADMK,DMK,DMDK and others.So shorn of North Indian flavour,BJP has to build a mass base.Hindus will not come together in TN,merely on a religious plank.In TN it is business of politics between the two Kazhagams.Both will alternate earning money for themselves and their cronies.So how can BJP or Congress grow.No way.

lkaji mah is making a rat yaatra for distribution of lap tops to the rural population and mooodyji mah making wedges every where - in mah told that no maharashtrian has ever been a PM and that pawar will never become a PM. this led pawar to look out for third fourth and umpeteenth front; in punjab told the siks to ask Dr MMS as to what action he has taken for the sikhs being tormented in the talibani dominated paki. this has led to wedge there also.
