The party of palanquin bearers
by bimal mohapatra on May 04, 2009 09:46 PM

Just a couple of days ago, Prakash Karat, the General Secretary of CPM and party supremo told that 'we will not be palanquin bearer of Congress.' But, now, his senior party colleague and politburo member does not ruled out that possibility. Whether Karat accept this cardinal truth or not, the truth is: CPM in particular and Leftist in general which is slowly reducing to the status of spent force, was party of palanquin bearers, is party of palanquin bearers and will remain so till it is existing in the political scenario in India. Leftist was the palanquin bearer of Stalin's Soviet Union while Quit India Movement was going on, was so of Nehru's Soviet sponsored economic and development policies which was singularly responsible for India's backwardness till date, was so of China when that nation attacked India in 1962, was so of Indira Gandhi when she was fighting with Congress Old Guard and laying foundation for dynastic rule at the expense of democracy in late 1960s at the behest of Breznev, was so of Congress minority appeasement politics which helps the growth of discontent among the majority community, was so of V.P.Singh's mid-night Shahi Imam appeasement and caste based politics in 1989-90, was so of China's opposition to Indo-US nuclear deal, was so of PDP and Madhani's communal politics in Kerala now. The list is unending. This time to deny BJP to come to power, again they will be palanquin bearer of anti-democratic dynastic rule of Congress, may be san Dr. Singh.

Is this Government really protecting us??!!

Oct 11 2007: Ajmer Blasts : 2 Killed
May 13 2008: Jaipur Blasts : 68 Killed
July 16th 2008: Ahmedabad Blasts : 57 Killed
July 25th 2008: Banglaore Blasts: 1 killed
Sept 13th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 26 Killed
Sept 27th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 2 Killed
Sept 29th 2008 : Gujrat Blasts : 1 killed
Oct 21st 2008: Imphal Blasts : 17 Killed
Oct 30th 2008: Assam Blasts : 40 Killed
Nov 26th 2008: Mumbai Attack: 180 killed

Did you know that on the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the
Government gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan ? Last year
our Govt. has given Rs 3000 crores (600 Million Dollars) to Afghanistan?
This, when victims of terror in India have not yet got aid? What's going
on?
B) Is this Government really secular ?

1) When Madrasas are being shut down in Pakistan, the Indian
Government is giving them CBSE status !! It is depriving Muslim children in
getting secular education. A Madrasa educated person can get a job in
any government office without going through the secular education
system. Can India afford to have fundamentalists in government departments?
Why cannot the government shut down Madrassas and let Muslim children study
with the rest?

Prakash Karat -PM! It will be a Third Front Govt!
by Kabeer on May 04, 2009 07:22 PM  | Hide replies

It will be a Third Front Govt.

All Non-Congress & Non-BJP parties will combine and form the Govt. Only DMK & TMC will stay out; DMK because AIADMK will be there; TMC because CPM will be there.

As all the other parties do not want a single individual based party to be the PM as he or she may become an icon, all of them agree on CPM as it is not an individual based party and also having undoubted secular credentials.

That makes Prakash Karat as PM!

At last a young and an ideologue will become the PM.

Prakash Karat was the best outgoing student from Madras Christian College.
