No Congress in UP, only in Amethi and Raibareilly
No Congress in Bihar
No Congress in Tamil Nadu
Karnataka, Gujarat,Chattisgarh, Jarkhand, Madya Pradhesh, uttranchal, Himachal, Assam, NDA will sweep. Congress will get upto 10 to 15 LS seats in these states. States like Rajasthan, Punjab, delhi, Haryana. It will be 50-50 seats for NDA & Congress or 40 -60 seats in these states. Left out Andhra, Orissa,Maharastra states congress may get 1/4th of the total seats. In West Bengal it is TMC, congress will get few seats. In Kerala they may get 10 seats ? In totality from where congress get seats for forming the govt.

Mayawati In Delhi
by Rajesh Vyas on May 05, 2009 03:07 PM  | Hide replies

Mayawati's stature in politics is overhyped. This person has been able to succeed in the so called social engineering in U.P. However, the issues in UP and India are very different. UP is caste ridden, the rest of India is not. Mayawati's stature will be exposed on May 16, 2009

The greatest need is curbing unwanted population, providing employment to everyone, any party may come or go, hardly matters, but no one is talking on this issue.

Out of UP its Individuals Game
by Universal King on May 05, 2009 12:59 PM  | Hide replies

Dear Ravish,

First of all iappriciate your ground work in your articles and reports on TV.

Let me tell you in Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan BSP has no Base at all. The individuals who are on Ticket of BSP will not get votes because of any ideology and party whatever votes they will get its because of their own relations.

The money lords in this election from the mentioned states are just their on BSP ticket to show their strength and money to get the eye of other bigger parties so that before the next assembly or corporation elections they will get tickets of better parties.

If in the next election some big party will offer them tickets they will not give a second thought before joining it.

I am fully agree with you that some people are becoming bigger than BSP but they will change their teams before next game like the auction of IPL players.

In Delhi state assembly election media has over hyped BSP as a great deciding factor but it was all fuss.

The same fuss will happen in these election too, the dreams of Mayawati to be PM will never come true.

Just wait and watch the game who will play the Super Over after the election.

What is happening before election is just to make people fool, what factors will arise after the election and who will join whom will be after the election

BJP must broaden its base
by Rationalist on May 05, 2009 12:21 PM

BJP seems still not seems to have considered doing well in states which see it as a Hindi region party. The only state they have mangaged to breakthrough in South is Karnataka, thanks to the open minded voters than to the efforts of BJP. Ofcourse there are quite a few leaders who have worked hard for over 25 years since formation of BJP and before that in their previous version. But if BJP wants power in the centre it has to add local flavour of the regions which are appealed by regional parties. They should learnt to do what these regional parties are doing and learn being hypocrites. It is just one break they need. Anyways Indian people are used to vote against incumbent govornments and they will give BJP another chance next time.

Open minded do'nt follow stereo typical parties. Is not everybody equal in this country? What more secularism do these people want to achieve. Over Secularism? Enough of Secularsim. That's easy to talk and practice. All it takes is to appease one community. They have completely failed in doing things which matter. THe ones which will give food, shelter and water. Ones which gaurd intrests of our country. Ones which preserve our borders and territories.

Open minded people means those who do'nt hesistate to seek change. Those who are not binded by stereo typical thinking of caste, creed and region. Means they are more free and liberal than others.FOr them to change is easy. Not keep voting the same people continously for 60 years without thinking and analysing based on sentiment.

NDA worked atleast 3.5 years and UPA was in sleep for the same time.

right said Kartik. Can you imagine a sensless and uneducated, kind of person representing India on the international front as a PM. She will probabbly invite Obama to join her party and quote him as 'Dalit' being a 'black' and may offer to compaingn for him in next US election
. Think of any backward country's Prime Minister, and you will find him or her, a much better chioce than Mayawati
