Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate for Karur, K C Palanisamy, leads the pack with assets worth about Rs 77 crore, followed by Congress' Sarubala R Thondaman (Rs 56.62 crore). While Palanisamy is contesting from Karur, Thondaman is trying her luck from Tiruchirappalli.
HE IS FAR BETTER THAN ANY OTHER POLITICAL LEADER IN TN.APART FROM REST,HE HAS DONE MANY.HE HAS GIVEN RICE FOR 1 RS,GAVE JOB TO TEACHERS WHO ARE JOBLESS FOR THE PAST 20 YRS OR MORE,GAVE LAND TO MANY.BUT MANY OF THEM ARGUE THAT IT NOT REACHED MANY PEOPLE.BUT HE HAS DONE SOMETHING COMPARED WITH OTHER TN LEADERS.HE IS NOT ALLOWING COMMUNAL VIOLENCE IN THE STATE.EVERYBODY CAN SAY HIS FAMILY IS RULING AND OCCUPYING MANY SEATS AND PROPERTIES.BUT REST OF ALL THE TN PARTY HAS ONE OR MORE RULING GUYS EXCEPT THEIR LEADERS - AIDMK(SASIKALA & PARTY),PMK(ANBUMANI,GURU),MDMK(NANJIL SAMPATH).SO JUST PRAY FOR HIM TO RECOVER SOON.I AM NOT BELONG TO ANY PARTY.I AM EXPRESSING MY VIEWS.IF ANY OTHER LEADER IS BETTER THAN MK,TELL WHAT THEY HAVE DONE.

I am on fast unto death and will not break my fast till karuna is out of hospital. But I have my regular breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast I have chicken biryani, for lunch i have pork cutlets and for dinner I have mutton koorma.

dear Ranjith .. you have poor understanding. Did you ever visited villages. He gave rice to Rs.1 and Quarter @ Rs. 60. Money spent on rice scheme is Rs. 800 cr and amount earned by his family on liquer is Rs.8,000 cr. What did he have when he came to Chennai. Why a majority should not rule TN. Sasikala/Ramdoss/Thirumavalavan are all from majority in TN. Who is Karu..Moopanar etc etc. They are ALL in politics to save their wealth and to multiply it. Every body is talking about Amma cancelling Govt Employees. Did any one know that govt. department worked in healthy when she sent all unions etc. It was supposed to be the GOLDEN period for public. What jeya has done except beating the press people in procession,sending govt people to jails,inviting his party men to bow their head in front of her,maintaining BJP alliance indirectly to cheat TN people,creating more properties in abroad instead of India,condemning the opposite leaders in a silly way,taking rest in a/c bungalow,insulting the fellow leaders,encouraging meetings to support eelam people instead of helping them.

Even you can add giving biriyani, Rs. 5000, mixie, grinder to Tirumangalam voters. Cong & DMK (UPA) achievements are endless. In this tenure 1 lac crore Spectrum scandal, Kanimozhi got 2000 crore. They can give Rs. 5000 & chicken biriyani to all of TN people. Jayalalitha at least will maintain law & order. Law college incident, lawyers agitation, etc. Karuna has done so much to HIS PEOPLE not to the people of TN & they are in every business in TN & India.

Give govt funds to temples? Your joke will not be forgiven by even god. Check the facts. Find out how much invaluable wealth the ancient temples of TN had and how much is left now and how much could have gone to these politicians. Those who questioned the existence of gods were the ones who looted it most.
His political career is counted. He has(d) three wifes.. 9 children. Imagine what kind of stress he had. Single handedly he managed 40,000 Crores property. The Election Commission has summoned Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary K.S.Sripathi to appear before it at 3 p.m. on Sunday and clarify on reports that fares of government buses in the State had been “reduced,” violating the model code of conduct. Did this news get reported in Rediff (or I missed out)?
UPA has changed the emblem of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Lotus and shining Sun to Cross and Crescent. And this has been done in the name of “broader reflection of national ethos.” Board of Governors of KVS in its 79th meeting held on 26.6.2008 approved the new logo and a circular was sent to all offices and schools of the Sangathan on July 17, 2008, to change the emblem in all the publications and communications. Though the chairman of KVS, HRD Minister Arjun Singh did not attend the meeting, the minutes of the meeting stated that the emblem has been approved by the chairman. His deputy Shri Md Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Minister of State, HRD & Deputy Chairman, was also not present at the meeting. circular issued by the Asst. Commissioner (Acad I), KVS, said “in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology & social changes taking place in the society” (sic) the new emblem has been created.The picture shows a book with blank pages, and apparently two human forms emerging from globe. The crescent (an Islamic symbol) and two crosses and stars (Christian) are obvious. UPA govt released coins of Rs 2 denomination with cross on them. There is move to change our national motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’

No idea if the new logo contains any religious symbol or not. But what has happened last year was that the Lotus was removed from the KVS logo. This is very clear of narrow-mindedness of Congress. Will they change the national flower also? Will they change the tri-color national flag and make it only Green and White? If they removed the logo, why they did not want to remove the motto of KVS which is still in Sanskrit? Will they change the national motto "Satyameva Jayate" since it is from the scriptures of one religion? Will they rename all rivers to Urdu names just because they are treated as gods by one religion? Narrow minded morons may get to any extent to tap the vote-banks.
i am proud of mexican people for the latest invention of this pig flu. man .. it took a foreign flu to knock down this pathetic creature in india. hope the pig does the trick this time!
