The intelectuals have raised valid concerns which we must support. Have you ever asked yourself why the power situation is like this? Why the roads are always so bad? Why the Govt. hospitals are death dens? Why it took 34 years to have another university? Why the VCs are always nominated by Alimuddin Street? Also, check the website of NFHS(National Family Health Survey) which will tell you the quality of life of people in WB is as good as those in UP, Bihar Jharkhand etc. Why anyone opposing the LF in ideology are labelled "Class enemies"? It's impossible for WB to improve because ppl like you are pretending to sleep and none can wake up someone like that.

As far as I know, the communists always admit their mistakes. However, how can we forget that the communists had prevented the central government from opening up the manking, insurance and pension-provident fund to the open market? We should thank the communists for that, because if the central government had done this, the common people of India would have lost their lifetime's savings as a result of the global meltdown.

You may have any particular reason to hate commies. But don't link Sensex with commies success or failure. In last 1 year or so, sensex has fallen from 21K to 8K, what did commies got to do in it? It went upto 21k by some people manupulation and came down again by manipulation. If you try to link this with commies win/loss, then people will think you a mad.

The last downslide of Sensex was due to the global economic slowdown. But on a day when everything else is right and the Sensex is on a positive trail, a commie win will either halt the growth of Sensex or actually pull it down.

Is that a fault of the communists? The market may not like the communists, but how does that mean a fault of the communists? The communists have openly said that they are against the global market. But if - in spite of that - they win any election, how would you blame them for the adverse reaction of the market?
