Indian Parliament is SUPREME. Indian Supreme Court is SECONDARY.
by New York on May 04, 2009 07:47 AM

Most Indians and some Supreme Court Judges and Parliament Members are CONFUSED or prejudiced.

Indian Parliament is SUPREME because they are ANSWERABLE and ACCOUNTABLE to 1,166,079,217 (July 2009 est.) Indian Citizens.
Supreme Court is SECONDARY, because they are only ANSWERABLE to the LITIGANTS.

Democratic Nations have the following setup.
PLAN - Parliament
DO - Administration EXECUTES as per PLAN
CHECK - Judiciary CORRECTS Administration (NOT Parliament) as per PLAN

* Supreme Court should NOT create/review/refine/rewrite any LAW.
* Supreme Court should NOT solve your KASHMIR problem,
* Supreme Court should NOT decide your INCOME TAX rates,
* Supreme Court should NOT decide the CORRECT train fare rate in India.

Parliament decides the SALARIES of Supreme Court Judges.
Supreme Court Judges do NOT decide the SALARIES of Parliament Members.

At present, RAM JETHMALANI and PRANAB MUKHERJEE in India are EXPERTS in interpreting the PRACTICAL applications of Indian Constitution.

Why no strong directives to Center on black money?

Why strong directions are not given to center on black money? Do some of the justices themselves have black money stacked there? Is the SC Supreme Court for Gujarat?

Outdated laws, practices and outdated judiciary!
by Rama Mani on May 03, 2009 08:04 PM  | Hide replies

Current laws are great for the rich, famous and politicians. Despite all the great laws included those framed in 1870 or so, we have all laws on earth. These days we have one biggest law: bring the person I will quote you the law. So add a new agency and new laws for money minting machines. Till now not a single big politician has been punished. Not many rich and famous have been punished. Poor and helpless have the highest loads on earth of huge laws and agencies!!! The US, UK and many nations had one major terrorist action! We have these days monthly terrorist actions! Right from President downwards every one is doing tamashas. They increase security for themselves and want us to make sacrifices! Even while touring phoren nations they don’t tour Sudan, Ethiopia, Congo or others! They including our sermon giving SC CJI and justices want to tour US, UK, European nations! Of course, even Marxists belong to this class! Have patience! Have courage! Pay more taxes!

It is not the LACK OF LAWS, it is the LACK OF ENFORCEMENT.

How do you expect the POLITICIANS, and the GOVT OFFICIALS to take ACTION UPON THEMSELVES. Thieves will not put themselves in Jail.

As a citizen, we should keep the pressure on, through the MEDIA to PROSECUTE THE OFFENDERS.
