Why Sachin has joined Politics after studying abroad and getting prestigious degree .It is not public service but lure of having crores in Swiss banks which brings such gentleman in politics .And why he is flaunting his Gujjar caste and fighting for reservation

That is true, it is for the lure of money and authority. However, you are getting a guy who can work for the interest of the constituency, which you say have been deprived of even an Airport despite being the abode of Pushkar and Darga.

Even a semi-literate Parliament Member earns much more than a CEO. So Sachin might have thought that Politics is a lucrative business rather than joining some services. Moreover, if he joins a job, he has to retire after certain age but it is a misfortune for Indian democracy that leaders even after crossing eighty years are becoming MPs and Ministers. In other words, in politics one need not have any basic qualification or upper age limit to become MPs and Ministers.

Moreover if he completes 5 years as MP (by any hook or crook) he is entitled to get pension also.

Yes, you are correct. As far as I understand, now the stipulation of 5 years has also been reduced. Whenever any bill is introduced for giving benefits to the MPs and hike in perks, same is passed by voice vote and even the custodians of the poor i.e. the Left Parties do not make any opposition. When lakhs of our population even after six decades of independence do not get even a square meal in a day, the leaders of our 'so called' democracy are staying in castles and enjoying their life to the full at tax payer's money.

No chance for Congress.....
by Anurag Rathore on May 02, 2009 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

I am from Ajmer. Congress divides people on basis of castes. Rajasthan is biggest example of it. Each educated people in Rajasthan knows how much rajasthan developed in BJP time. But Vasundhara only lost the election because congress raised the issue of Gurjar and Meena. Result 33 seats BJP lost because of voting on caste basis by uneducated people of rural areas.

The same Gurjar leader is now in BJ Pee. Do you realy understand the cast politics? The Gurjar reservation politics was started by BJ Pee itself but things went out of control and they lost to congress.

BJP is always against Reservation based on castes but Congress always talk about reservation based on castes for votes. While we all know reservation based on castes is not good for India's progress.

Sachin is a loud mouth, always bragging his connections wth Rahul
by deshbhakth on May 02, 2009 11:01 AM

He talks too much. He is knowledgeable but should control his speech, b'cos he has turned out to be a loud mouth. In politics you have to show your organizational strength and also what changes you have for your constituency. Congress dynastic politics will not always work with the people. Rajasthan has never had a potent Congress leader who has driven the economy or infrastructure. It was only BJP which has always been responsible for overall development in every state that it is ruling or ruled in the past. Succeesive governments have always negated the growth in the same states after BJP is voted out of power

Sachin is enetirely immature in the politics, which was thrown after death of his father in the politics. Whereas, Kiran Maheshwari is a fully mature candidates in Ajmer Constituency and easily win the election. As, she has also a lot of experience in the politics since long.

TODAY also you people are talking of immaturity. Do you want people like ADVANI,MANMOHAN,JASWANT (all oldies) to remain stick to Indian politics? I really wonder when India will REALLY SHINE? The need of the hour is young people in politics. Experience can only come when we will give chance to young people like SACHIN , RAHUL( in a similar way as in J&K present CM case)to come forward.Just as in USA no doubt whatsoever the calibre and efficiency a president has, hhe /she can not remain president for more than two terms. They retire people well in time. But leaders in India take for granted the status that a general man/woman of india confer on them and never want to quit unto death. Have you ever seen any leader of US coming to deliver speeches and attending office on wheel chair......NO. IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA. Please let young people mushroom up in clean politics. True, we need young people in politics. But we can not give chance to people like Sachin, Rahul or Omar because they have come to politics via quota (family). There are so many young people in India who given a chance will prove to be much better than above people.
