If you go by qualification then you have to disqualify 90% of candidates. I would say people from Admin(Honest officers with IAS Cadre) background should be given chance. We have one person Jayprakash Narayan who formed a party called Lok Satta. It will be great If India gets leaders like Jayprakash.

well buddy i dont know much about Jayprakash Narayan, but trust me, most IAS officers (90%) are so corrupt that these politicians are nothing in front of them. In fact these run the corruption shop for for all netas as end of the day you still want thing to look nice on paper.

I fully agree with every one but we must start some where. I know such a large percentage of politicians and especially Administrative people it is not a joke.

I also heard that some party in Gujarat is giving ticket to Amisha Patel ( what a joke) to contest elections. And how do you expect a goonda like Sanjay Dutt to contribute to Nation ans Society( Lucky that SC has barred him to fight elections)

ha ha...
Currently corruption in politics are being performed by un qualified and un educated politicians. Imagine the coppuption when govt is run highly educated people like IAS officers. The corruption would be so clean that no one would ever know and our country would simple be ripped apart.
Fodder scam kind of things if done by IAS officers would always go un-noticed.

I support JP. This election will be interesting to see how Lok Satta performs. This will prove if thr is any change in the thought process of voters....Do they still go by parties like cong, bjp, cpm, who are always road blocks to each other....or with a sensible person like JP
