Congress.............................
by Arumugham on Mar 30, 2009 06:27 AM

Why PM. There is no leaders in Congress except Chamchas. Ask Renuka Chouchury about that Dad giving birth to children through his own daughter. She will say we are talibanising. It is all common in developing Society. Another Chamcha Girija Vyas. There is very big list. If we say this we will get pink chaddy.

BJP has all the guts and stupidity to project a near 90 year old as star PM !! When will this party ever make a start with a positive campaign on what they can do for the country instead of trying to attack others all the time.

Sundaram:

Too bad that you don't have the patience to read through the actual interview...

What you are laughing at is not at Naidu, but Rediff's stupidity in Headlining their articles...

If that is your criteria, congrats and let God save India. We need to look ahead 5 to 10 years and choose someone younger in their fifties, like Jaitley Modi, Chidambaram etc. and not just a rabble rouser. People want results and not empty rhetoric.

Happy:

It would've been better had you commented on Naidu's statement rather than a stupid Rediff headline.

Hint: To read Naidu's statement, all you have to do is read the above interview, which you clearly didn't do before posting. :)

Advani nurtured BJP from a non-entity to main oppositioned party in India using "steroid" of communal hatred that led to Babri Mosque episode and communal riots thereafter. Taking steriods has "side-effects". It is time BJP and Advani reap the side effects.

Do U know trecent take over of Chidambaram temple by non-hindus

The recent Take over of Chidambaram temple by non-hindus and aestheists on Tamilnadu shocks our conscience. In many ways the ‘dravadian (by logical corollary ‘non indian’) heavily campaign against Hinduism and Hindu Symbols bears resemblance to the actions of the Taliban against non-islamic symbols (Bamiyan Buddha statues) in Afghanistan. Under international outcry even the Talibans halted their destruction of the statues, but in India the same set of politicians are now keeping quite.
Needless to say every attack on Hinduism and a section of the Hindu society (dubiously called as ‘upper caste’) is packaged as social justice! Sp great is the fear of ‘caste, votebanks, that even parties professing support fo Hindutva are refusing to consider the just and fair rights of the Unreserved Class Hindus. Things have gone so far that none of them are even willing to consider the Unreserved Class Hindus as Citizens.

Healtiest Leader

If Mr. Naidu is saying that Advani is the only healthiest leader in BJP then one can see thier future in Indian Politics will soon come to an end. If a 81 yr old is their future then i feel very sorry for them.

BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 yrs ZERO
by Lopesh S on Mar 29, 2009 11:17 PM  | Hide replies

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.

Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.

This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

No nation will develop IF THE WOMEN ARE UNEDUCATED and BECOME AN UNDERCLASS IN THE SOCIETY. It is the women who nurture the children, and they are a huge part of the lives of the children if they are particularly not going to work. They help in the educating the children and this in turn produces more educated citizens. MORE POWER TO WOMEN. Keep them EDUCATED and remove them the clutches of the chauvinistic males.

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media
by S S on Mar 29, 2009 11:17 PM

Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.
Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

Yeddi also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants

MMS scared to face Advani for a open TV debate
by Desh Premi on Mar 29, 2009 11:15 PM  | Hide replies

I am sure Congress is not so naive as to give such a lame excuse for not letting Mr. singh to debate Mr. Advani on live TV program. And let the debate happen actually. I am waiting for this "INSTITUTION" of live-public-debate on issues to emerge out of this election. If not anything else.As it is we are heading for a very unstable government ... let these institutions of electoral governance emerge.Voters (citizens) are scrambling for a wholistic view of each political party. And Congress has shrewdly managed the process by not creating such an institution.Even if Advani does not come to power, he will have left a lasting impact on the democracy by enabling the creation of live-public-debate as a major milestone in the national electoral process.

A good proposal but not acceptable to PM as he is not a politcian at all. He remembers only Baberi Mosque demolition forgetting that problem started by his party by opening locks of the mosque and remained mute spectator while the demolition was taking place. Since he does not remember who gave taste of emergency to India and who butchered thousands sikhs in 1984 therefore what he is going to debate? Mr.Advani's request for debate to PM is an exercise in futile.
