Mishra:

All good sentiments. But criminal background candidates are the bane of all political parties this time around.

So this by itself does not show anything. There are other points on which I am opposed to Kaangress... but not just this one... it is universal... believe me..

I am in dilemma!
by Praveena Gowda on Mar 30, 2009 09:46 AM  | Hide replies

I am actually in south Bangalore but my vote is in Kolar Constituency of Karnataka. From fast 12 years for all elections, i had been posted as a Presiding officer in Election duty. Only last election i got Postal ballet paper. Even though i directly prize and like BJP,i could not vote to it. Because my Brother is an Influential Leader of Congress in Kolar region, i had to vote in favor of my Brother only. that is my immediate responsibility. Even Congress MP and Union Road transport Minister K H Muniyappa not a bad person to avoid voting him. What to do?

If you think your brother is a very good leader, honest and visionary person who is highly valuable for your region, vote for him. If other candidates are better him, then vote for them. Its not important to vote for Congress or BJP, important is to get the right and good people in power and let them decide who runs the country.

How about your selection?
by wellwisher on Mar 30, 2009 09:41 AM  | Hide replies

Mr. Venkaiah How about your party? Are there no young blood? You don't want to take chances within yourself. Have some consistency in your sayings. Advani is not a drawing force as Vajpayee is used to be. Draw some proper business plans for this great election.

Double Anand:

You feel the question is good?

Then I'm sure you agree with Naidu's statement too. For it is exactly same as Wellwisher's question.

Wellwisher assumed Naidu made the statement unilaterally and jumped on the keyboard, whereas Naidu was carefully replying to allegations made by Kaangress.

Read the interview for more details.

Wellwisher:

The way you are asking questions to Naidu, he has asked questions of Kaangress..

Read the context in which he made the comment. If you find it too difficult to go through the whole interview, below is the question to which he responded:

"Your prime ministerial candidate is 81 years old, while the Congress is projecting its young leadership alongside Manmohan Singh [Images]. Is this not a major disadvantage for the BJP?"

And the sentence from which the headline was extracted, was actually:

"Then, if young people should rule India, why does the Congress not have the guts to project a young prime minister? The problem is that for Congress, youth only means dynasty. This is going to be a major election issue in our campaign."

So having commented on the stupid Rediff headline, kindly also comment on Naidu's statement too... :)

If Venkaih ex president of BJP thinks Advani is young, by that standard Manmohan is also young.
Why to adopt two different scales or they are going to replace advani with Varun

So both you and Naidu think along the same lines.

I have seen all these replies. In congres, Saching Pilot, Sindhia, Jintal and many more young MPs and Ministers are there. Tell me who was the youngest Minister in BJP. Forget its coaltion partners Ministers.? BJP does not had the guts to appoint a young minister then how han Mr. Onion Naidu (Venkayam) coments on Congress. Let him speak till to his heart's content. He will face the same situation of 2004 after election.

Have they come up by themselves ?Its takes long time to come up to important post in cadre based parties than in dynasty parties.

BJP survives on the oxygen supplied by their supporters in the media. Otherwise, this party has no programme for the country except divide on the basis of religion.

Congress and other parties who try to appease minorities and get their votes are as communal as BJP....

If someone speaks abt rights of Hindus, thn it is called communal....and whn most parties speak abt giving special rights and preference to muslims then why aren't they called communal...

There are many parties who get religion and caste into politics to get votes.....so BJP isnt the only one to blame....

Congress has been pro-muslim since the day MK Gandhi tried to get Nehru to step down, and make Jinnah the 1st PM of free India....

If majority Hindus hadnt felt slighted at the hands of Congress since independence, then parties like BJP would have had no reason to exist...

BJP saying no guts with congress... actually congress not going for dynasty and they have no issue to campign agaisnt... you get that? you just read the comment not understood it.... so understand and comment... BJP want this issue to ivoke clearly.... in any case dynasty is not a bad thing if dynasty is good ruler.. like we speak of Ram dynasty... every time... We means we..... All we are against no body... No BJP cannot do any thing as Gandhi is not a PM candidate... he will also not marry... os no furtherance of Dynasty... in name of dynasty how long BJP can do their regging... stop it now... and apreciate the sacrifice... its takes guts to do that... it take guts to die for nation...and stand out...
