BJP could have been more liberal to Mr.Pramod Mahajan's heirs
by swami pudipeddi on Mar 27, 2009 05:39 PM  | Hide replies

The BJP tried its best to project his son but that person due to his bad habits brought bad name to the party. Others if wanted to come to public life should prove by their work of public service before seeking the position through party. Probably the central leadership wants to do the needful at the appropriate time. All parties may not emulate Congress which gives a ticket to immediate kit/kin of a retired/slain leader.

rightly said. rahul was inducted in bjp soon after his father's death.
but this brat rahul spoiled bjp's name within a month finding himself in drug addiction then he got married but again he was alledged for beating his wife n then subsequent diverce. rahul's image n poonam's tender age going against her.

The person putting forth the question is more provocative. As usual like any other Indian media person. He wants to put words into the mouth of person interviewed. This is the attitude of BAKING ONE'S ROTI FROM THE CREMATION FIRE'.
Mr.Mahajan was a promising leader of BJP.He was eliminted by ( ...., guess who?)through his lunatic brother.Indian system did not reach the culprit.

Wise Decision

Pramod Mahajan contributed to BJP's downfall last time through scandals and immoral actions. Finally he coined the phrase India Shining and his infamous death in the hands of his brother dented BJP's image further. Good that party is distancing from Mahajan labels.

i agree...for once there is a party to say no to family politics... though the policy is not consistent... there shud be some other reason for denying the tkt to poonam... more that that meets the eye...

It is good that a person of stature of Munde can & has to raise above personal egos & still work as a party worker & that too humbly... It sends a strong signals to party cadre & to comman man like me.

Kirit is a good person & giving ticket to him should most welcomed. Wish he enters the lokasabha this time.

I don't know how active Poonam is in public & party circles. But, don't ever give a ticket to "Rahul" in the name of "Mahajans"

Former MP Kirit Somiah is the best candidate for Mumbai North-East seat. Its good that BJP selected him this time also.
