Looks like he is on drugs....
by Amit Sharma on Mar 27, 2009 04:08 AM  | Hide replies

This guy looks half hung up on drugs. He talks about Kalam in one breath and then Congress on the other. Does he even know that Congress actually got rid of the Best President India ever had with a yes woman from Mumbai (maharastrian to keep some happy)whose relatives have been involved in murder?

Who do you think should be the President? ADVANI... the one who was in ayodhya witnessing a religious place being demolished on his RATH and there by created hatred among people and killed thousand in riots?

Nobody says Congress wallahs are saints but haven't fallen low like BJP killing thousands . Yeah. You may say about Sikh riots. There were no premeditated ones but rose from emotions unlike the RATH YATRA which went on for months before ending that in ayodhya killing thousands.

The Congress has ruined the economy of the country. After the crippling global economic sanctions against India after Pokhran2, the NDA government managed the economy so well and achieved a consistent growth rate of near 11%, and now without any sanctions against us, the growth rate is 5.3%. What a sorry story of economic mismanagement. The communal tag on the BJP is only an attempt by the Congress to hoodwink the masses and cover up their own misdeeds of corruption, nepotism and inefficiency. In fact the Congress is more communal than the BJP. Who killed 5000 Sikhs? Who acquised to the killings of tens of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits and turned a blind eye when hundreds of thousands of pandits were displaced? Who cowed down and refused to provide a rest area to Amarnath yatris? Who orchestarted the murder of more than 6000 Indians in terrorist attacks by scrapping the POTA in the last 5 years?????????

"I am more influenced by the Congress from childhood"

no wonder you are satisfied with the conditions in India. Vellathanayathu malar neettam maanthar tham ullathanayathu uyarvu.

"He may have the qualities of the leader having born into the Nehru-Gandhi family."
nice thinking. this justifies the caste system.

Its high time educated ppl(he's studied something) start using their brains and start thinking about the nation and what we cud've been without all the corruption and lack of law enforcement

This is what happens when educated people also dont think. He says he is influenced by the party from childhood. I still cant figure what congress did to influence him, what development. Created more slums and poor people. May be he is getting benefits in his job because of Congress.
And by his words that BJP and Third Front does not exist very much means he cant think beyond congress, I think he is a congress fanatic, for him i dont think even other people exist.
grow up thambi, think

CONGRESS WILL NOT TOUCH 100 SEATS
by raju raju on Mar 27, 2009 01:45 AM  | Hide replies

For the first time Congress will not get even 100 seats in the coming LS poll. In U.P. and Bihar they don't have any alliance with their own UPA partners and they cannot win more than 6 to 7 seats in these states. So there is no question of touching 100 fig mark. CPM will get around 25 seats from Kerala and Bengal. Their alliance with PDP will affect them badly. People are not happy with CPM's alliance with anti-national party like PDP.

But Congress has paid compensation to affected families and removed the Congress leaders like Rajesh Pilot, and others from Ministry and other positions. But what BJP has done about Gurarat Mass Murders. All big BJP leaders are free and well protected by evil BJP head command including Advani. Bajpayee is suffering as he was PM who did nothing and even mocked by saying "we use to burn them when they are dead but our BJP activists have burn them alive"

Lack of a debate on issues
by Arya Newton on Mar 27, 2009 01:31 AM

I think the most unfortunate part of our democracy is the lack of constructive role that media should play during elections. This is one point when media shoulders a great responsibility . The role of media is not to pass judgements ( as you very often find a Barkha Dutt or Rajdeep Sardesai delivering ) but provide platform on which they ask each party to outline their policies on specific issues. It is not sufficient for Congress or BJP to say we are focussing on development and good governance - well, thats a given. They should be quizzed on the specifics , asked to present a vision, roadmap for example, on various parameters. If this is what the media asks of the election reps then thats first step towards a voter making an informed choice. Alas, media is preoccupied with their biases - BJP is communal , Congress is secular full stop , no debate . Is it any surprise then that despite being a "thriving" democracy, Indias human development index is compared to most underdeveloped nations of the world.
Rediff, can you be different , PLEASE ?
