these parties only care for the assembly when there is a election around and they fight betweent themselves like thery are the owners of the constituency. Let the better sense prevail and vote for the better candidate than the party.

TDP- TRS alliance
by bhujanga subannachar on Mar 25, 2009 09:37 AM

During first tanure of TDP it proved as a party with some priciples but next tenure it's performance appeared as though it is Tappadu Darula Party. After NTR's demise though Chadrababu Naidu had tried to imporove it's image and did appreciable service corrupt buearocracy sow that his party is not elected. Now, again Mr. Has been entering in to era of Tappadu Darulu by taking support of entire family clan. TRS though fighting for a case based on regionalism it's intentions will not setrve the state in right direction. The alliance however need to be showered with some public blessing as this alliance is more reliable and politically cable , corruption wise marginaaly better than shameless totally prodynastic, incable leadership so called nationalist cunning members council calle CONGRESS. Prajarayam is a filmy styed party with emotion and only emotions but without any political maturity thus desres to be rejected. Filmy heroisms alone can not yield results.

As Mr.Chandrababu Naidu is not interested in giving Telangana state and clearly stated that he is not interested in separating Andhra Pradesh earlier, why Mr.KCR is begging about seats. Is there any need to beg the seats from Mr.Chandrabu Naidu?
Mr.KCR can contest indipendently on TRS flag ship and show his hold in Telangana without any party's support. Then only he can bring Telangana.

It was BJP who acceded to the demand of smaller states like Uttranchal, Jharkhand and Chattisgarh, and only if a BJP government at the centre comes, the dream of Telugana will be fulfilled. BJP is commited to create a separate state Telugana and it is good for the Telugana people to overwhelmingly vote for BJP ratehr than these regional parties.

Regional parties can paly important role..
by VB S on Mar 25, 2009 09:29 AM

The regional parties are yet to play productive role since they get lost into the cheap publicity. The compelling force is that they have to fight the might of national parties and have very little to offer other than small regional agenda, thus, play them.

In the present scenario, it is doubtful if any party will get a majority in AP. AFter the elections, for cobbling together a majority, horse trading will take place and MPs and MLAs will be up for auction. Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam is another private limited party and with his demise, the party will also die. This is the state of affairs in Indian politics. All are day dreaming today. K. If AP is bifurcated, people of the state are themselves to be blamed. It was Pottu Sriramulu's fast unto death which created linguistic states and separated Telugu speaking areas from Madras Presidency to form the present AP. Then came Punjabi Suba, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, UP and so on and so forth. There were no problems in multi lingual states and that should have been the order of the day. Parameswaran, Rourkela

Has any one read in Rediff news anything about the snub the Congress received from Lalu in Bihar, or from Mulayam in UP ? Lalu even told us that Congress is digging a well when their house is on fire.
