Akshay- get your facts right, before you allege.if there was really coffin scam- then why did'nt the congress file a chargesheet in the five years it ruled?actually no coffins were imported only!!! He might have become sick & old- but no one in the right sense will call george corrupt.

one should think his capabilities , before making false coments on Mr. George Fernandes. He is man of Gem and Stature. Please don't compare yr, present policitians like Sonia, askar fernandes, and other jokers.
George is more fit than the MKS, Vajpayees, Gowda, etc. He has another and more unique qualification, he is more 'fit' than those mentioned from the point of view of a true and committed politician.

What about it is an allegation made by congress which was not considered to be a election issue also forget being even worthy of getting chargesheeted. The problem with Indian Population is we hardly use our brain to judge a situation. These politician just taint each other to gain political mileage. Resultantly many a times good politicians go in the oblivion. Gerorge was one of the few politician who were corruption free.
This man's lust for power is incredible. He cannot walk two steps properly, neither he can speak two sentences clearly. But he still wants to cling to his power seat! After gobbling millions in the coffin scam, this man is shamelessly wanting to contest polls. Even his own partymen have shunned him. So what does he do? He cobbles up his chamchas to proclaim that the people want him to contest. Geroge should gracefully retire; maybe take a trip to his Vatican so that his God may forgive his sins.

Dont call these people worthless. We need good politicians to give directions to the new ones and we need people like George still. It is like we dont dump our parents the moment they cross 70. Rather their experience becomes priceless for us.
Despite best efforts BJP is finding it difficult to come to power on its own.
Congress is bad accepted. But they win mostly because of 14% Muslim and 2% Christian votes. These are called vote banks of congress.
Now, until BJP succeeds in detaching the Muslims and Christians from congress. It will not succeed, no matter what is does.
If BJP has to win, Congress vote bank should be snatched from them.
Muslims/Christinas know that Congress uses them as vote banks and doesn't do much in relity for them. But they still vote for congress only to keep BJP out of power.
So, what is BJP going to offer Muslims/Christians to vote for BJP. Does BJP have any specific plans to get the most decisive 16% vote of Indian population in its favor.
e.g for Hindus BJP is once again promising the temple at ayodhya... what are the promises for Muslims and Christians

Muslims in Gujarat voted for MOdi in the last election. Their rhetoric against Modi has died. They realize that BJP does more than Congress. It is just once they have to trust and see. Gujarat was riot free in since 2001. Gujartis are prospering irrrespective of religion clkass and creed. Congress creates this panic in peoples mind to polarize votes. And we people like fool are being deprived of good governance. Imagine Modi as PM of India..incredible...
