* Only he can UNDERSTAND your culture and improve your socio-economic status. * And do not worry whether the candidate is CORRUPT or COMPETENT. * You must vote him till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH. * This is the only way to STOP India from dis-integrating.
I came across the following interesting observations by one Poonam I Kaushish, INFA:
A polity, including the 'main' Gandhi's (Aunt Sonia and cousin Rahul), attacking him as communal and a frenzied media condemning him to the gallows. Exposing as never before the hypocrisy of secularism.
At the outset, unlike my fellow tribesmen, I really don't understand what the brouhaha is about. Don't get me wrong I am no Hindu fundamentalist nor do I hold a brief for Varun but I intend playing a devil's advocate. To be fair to the young lad, what is so intemperate about his language that other politicians including seasoned ones have not said before. One can fault him on his harsh language, innuendoes, call it too blunt for the political palate or dismiss it as him being as brash as his late father Sanjay Gandhi.
Questionably, if a candidate who states "Agar kissi galat tatv ke aadmi ne, kisi Hindu pe haath uthaya ya yeh samajh key ki yeh kamzor hain, unke peeche koi nahi hai mein geeta ki kasam khake kehta hoon ki mein uss haath ko kaat daaloonga." (If somebody lifts a hand against Hindus, or thinks they are weak, there is nobody behind them, I swear on the (Bhagvad) Gita that I will cut off that hand) is elected would it tantamount to the death of democracy? That is juvenile to say the least. The voter is not stupid who could be swayed by electoral speeches.

What is wrong in what Varun has said???? The same thing is being said over and over again by Mozlems all the world over... They are then termed as being secular... Now that Varun, a Hindu has said this, he is being termed a Communal???? Could the DEFINITION of secular and COMMUNAL be made public???

The whole problem arises from the following definitions (courtesy: Branded Indian forum) given to various incidents by our pseudo-secular politicians (specifically Congressmen) and the media. The definitions speak for themselves:
Sikhs getting slaughtered in thousands – A mistake Hindus getting killed in Kashmir – Political problem Muslims getting killed by a few hundred – Holocaust Poor protestors getting shot in Nandigram under CPI(M) – Misunderstanding Banning Parzana in Gujarat – Communal Banning Da Vinci Code and to Bole So Nihaal – secular Kargil Attack – Government failure Chinese in Invasion in 1962 – Unfortunate betrayal Reservations in every school and college on caste lines – Secular Fake encounters in Gujarat (Sohrabuddin) – BJP communalism Fake encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra (Khwaja Younus) – Police attrocity. Talking about Hindus and Hinduism appeasement – Communal Talking about Muslims and Islam – Secular BJP questioning Islam – Communal Congress questioning Lord Rama’s existence – Clerical error.

What Varun said may not meet the secular ethos of this country . That much we must all agree. But what is funny if not downright absurd is that the voices that speak against Varun are blind to the other side of the coin. The CPI (M) who attacks Varun has no problem in cementing its ties with Madani a communal PDP leader who is even accused of recruiting young Muslims Kerala to fight for "JIHAD" against India. The Congress party of Priyanka Gandhi in Kerala was supported and voted for a resolution that demanded that Madani be released from jail . It is this that makes one wonder why a Priyanka Gandhi who asked Varun to read the Gita did not ask Madani or even Antulay to read the Koran. Varun is not the action but the reaction. Secular forces that abuse him ironically are his best justifiers.

Now ,a Christian terrorist speaks!Who has made the U S the world's moral police? Does our dear James bond uncle think that every thing that the US does is right and are they the only people to set the world right assuming that indeed the world is a bad place to live in? Is the US already not a trouble maker the world over and userper of power and authority? Come on Mr Bond have some pride and self respect and get rid of this slave mentality.

This is only because of the cowardly act of xtian missionaries... They target the poor people who are in dire straits... may be due to illness or due to financial problems.... Missionaries promise them food and clothing.... If Xtian missionaries have so much money, why are there poor Xtian beggars??? Why dont these so called missionaries turn their eye towards this category and work for their upliftment??? There are so many jobless, homeless, foodless and moneyless Xtians.... Missionaries should rather devote their time and money towards these people than target poor Hindus....

missionaries know that no educated person would ever convert to their dumb religion...that's why they catch illiterates!
His govt filed affidavit in the Supreme Court delcaring Sri Ram does not exists and Ramayan is a fiction. Did he apologised to the nation and to a billion plus hindus?
This man called MM Singh is insane. True sikhs will not abuse Sri Ram and Ramayan, they too worship Sri Ram.
MM Singh said, when he was loksabha candiate from New delhi constituency: RSS, BJP killed sikhs in Delhi in 1984. He was badly defeated by the sikhs in elction. Even Kushwant Singh appreciated RSS and BJP for saving the life of sikhs.
MM Singh lied, cheated President Kalam to dissolve Bihar assembly.
MM Singh bribed opposition MPs to stay in power, Cash for Vote scam master. He brought master criminal Sahabuddin inside parliament to stay in power.
All these shows the dirts of this shameless creature called MM Singh.
While I do believe that the CD was doctored, Varun Gandhi has to learn a few lessons in politics. It is not only what you say but how you say it is more important. Like some other BJP leaders, do not waste time on small issues. Do not get entangled in slanging match. Never threaten anyone in the public especially a group. Overwhelming majority of Muslims are like other Indians. Don't let few incidents color your judgement. Always remember that your party men would support you no matter what, but to increase your influence you have to bring new followers including political adversaries. Talk about their problems. talk more about poverty, corruption, employment, roads, water and security.
Follow Vajpayeee's foot steps not Modi. While Modi may be effective in Gujarat, but his emphasis on terrorism shows that he still does not feel the pulse of people. His strength is his administrative skills and honesty. He is already known to be tough on terrorism, but he fritters his time on terrorism. May be it is his personality that does not allow him to rise above emotional issues. Learn from your mistakes. Be flexible in politics. Be humble.

Follow like other brown slavess, who worship rabid anti-Hindu Italniaoo finangrees. Than you are 1000% sickular. Sameer is 1000% sickular. His relatives has not yet died of jihadii terror. Soon such peoplee will learn lesssions.
LKA had regretted demolition of Babri Masjid and the loss of lives thereafter. His hallowed intent to construct Rama temple at Ayodhya had received a major setback because of zealots had been seeing the matter from a different perspective, and he ended up being a helpless bystander.
As a Home Minister, the unfortunate sequence of events in the post-Godhra riot would have also made clear how situation can quickly go out of control. For the governmental processes implement a policy framework only if consistent with the social-political value paradigm of the governing party and not the individual intent of the leader.
On the advisory from EC, only absolute conformance by BJP will give thinking people the confidence that the present leadership team can be trusted to discharge the Constitutional responsibilities in the fashion the previous regime under ABV-LKA was trusted.
One hopes that the second rung of leadership does not let him down and adheres to the political values consistent with Bhartiyata and Constitutional values.

This school of thought against which EC has passed strictures and which is being defended has deeper ramification.
It is not difficult to see that the underlying issues here are of same genre as those which led to prosecution of Lt Col Purohit and others and their defence by a section of Shiv Sena and BJP. This is a reiteration of strong undercurrent of support for such misguided approaches founded not on just application of secular law but on premises of religious confrontation.
The ramification to the nation, this time is of far far greater import than Babri Masjid or post-Godhra riots.
Of contextual relevance is that the likes of deviant Purohit found an enemy in present Sarsanghachalak; and they went to the extent of calling him an ISI agent!

Are you not jumping the gun here.
We have not heard what Col. Purohit has to say. The media has only published one sided account which changes every day. And also narco analysis and allegation that some of the accused were made to sign when under influence of drugs is against all norms of civilized society.
Re: Re: Re: Sans Constitutional fidelity no guarantee for societa
by Ramesh on Mar 25, 2009 06:49 AM
It is only individual reporting, editorials have been written about it, senior civil servants and intellectuals have written essays reflecting upon the issues involved.
While the facts of the case would be known only when the Court pronounces its judgement. The underlying issues and politics involved is quite clear and is a matter of serious concern.
You have brought a very important criteria that of a "civilized society" which is exactly the matter is about. A civil society needs a secure political foundation with which defers to secular law. Once you concede that, the matter of "truth serum" can be justly debated.
But tis debate in no way absolve the aspirations of those who differentiate between Indian citizens on the basis of collective identity; or those who take law into their own hands, or those who exercise extra-Constitutional authority deriving their power from any professed faith.
Such wrongful means can never justify the ends; this is what Gita says, and so does Indian Constitution.
For genuine understanding we need value paradigm of Bhartiyata, as exposited by various writers and thinkers including Tagore, Bharatendu Harishchandra, JaiShankar Prasad amongst others.

Here is 3 paise worth of poetic effort for Bhartiyata values which are in full concordance with Constitutional values. -------------- nanak ki samajh, kabir ki sai aur tulsidas ki ram duhai may jo baat hain uski parchai may dhalta hain bharat sipahi
vaisay to guru hain hazaar sir jhukay un sabkay dwar sab dharam say seekhay unki izzat rahen barkarar yah saach soch hai asli hatiyaar jinsay desh bani saksham aur saakar
