Does it mean Advani has good friends/connections in muslim community who are ready to risk their lives for sake of Advani's image -
This is a foolish comment. If advani would have not allowed release of Maulana Azar, you would have commented in the reverse way -

Even during the official release of party's manifesto, Mr. Strong Prime Minister did not forget to thank Madamji for supervision and guidance. So, his only strength is 10 Jan Path. He also cited his fragile health as the reason for not contesting for a Lok Sabha seat. Must he not retire then from active politics, just like his predecessor.

completely agree to remarks made by the indian PM.First he needs to think at the level of our PM.How can we hand our top most position to a Advani where we dont feel safe under their rule.Just imagine Advani ,Modi ,Varun ,Togadia ,These kind of politicians in power ill be more scared of them rather than the terrorist from neighbouring countries...... I can see the desperation in Advani to become PM and making all false promises to indians.........PLease explain advaniji what happen to india shining.......

Did any thing happen to you or 99.99999% of your coreligionists during the years NDA was at the helm at New Delhi or is now in several states? Is there no sectarian violance in neighbouring countries? Are USA, UK or Germany completely free of racial prejudice? Isolated incidents can happen anywhere, even in Sudan and Egypt. So cut down this communal blabber. India is and always has been secular, and all the talk to the contrary is political jingoism by certain political parties, Congress being on the forefront. Indian Muslim League sounds communal by its name, but the Congress or even the comrades do not fight shy of embracing this party for political gains.

Modi should become PM
by sridhar skylab on Mar 24, 2009 05:25 PM  | Hide replies

To shut all these peoples mouth and make india into a super power in the world we should make Narendra Modi as PM. Then criminals, robbers and traitors in the politics will be washed off only by Narendra Modi. He is the only politician who gives real respect to the administrative officers and officers rather than ministers in his states. So he can similate the same kind of governance all over india. We all should take oath to make him as PM of india rather than spineless MMS and other culprits.

BJP and its voilent culture!!!!!!!!
by Funky on Mar 24, 2009 05:24 PM  | Hide replies

It looks as if the segregation based Indian democracy can work properly only BJ[ use violence.

Advani whose BJP had ONLT TWO MP SEATS in the Indian Parliament, became the rulers of India by increasing the number of MP seats to about 180, after demolishing 460 year old Babri Masjid on the most unconvincing pretext that the Hindu god Rama was born on the site where the Masjid was standing, eventhough there is no concrete evidence of his existence.

For BJP the best way to come to power in India is to start communal riots and kill as many innocent minority lives ( Muslims, Christians ) and set fire to their homes and destroy their shops and means of livelihood.

you can not answer my question, because you people are simply enjoying all benefits given by the pseudosecular government as minority status and you are enjoying special laws given to you. If you feel really an Indian and you should abide the laws which is common to india.

do you know the history that babri masjid itself built only after demolishing the Ram temple built in that location. Also it was not used by people until BJP was taken this issue to build Ram temple. Until then that place was useless and nobody was used the babri masjid. these idiotic pseudosecular politicians made this as a very big political issue. Even muslims would have let off this matter silently, this nasty congress made this matter as big and they are living with problem.

Contribution of Advani
by venkat on Mar 24, 2009 05:23 PM  | Hide replies

He brought an end to congress's monopoly in indian democracy. Otherwise by this time Rahul Gandhi would have been placed as the PM.

MMS himself should be thankful to Advani that it is becasue of BJP Sonia did not become the PM and finally MMS got the surprise gift.
MMS has forgotten his own "aukat1".

all parties are alike... india needs presidential style of govt
by Manali Desai on Mar 24, 2009 05:22 PM  | Hide replies

do we call Congress a democratic party at all or what. Decisions cannot be taken by any one other than High Command. All other posts are for name, hands bound, tongues tied, only repeat like parrot what they are taught or told to speak. On the other hand BJP not too great either stupid BJP leaders fighting within themselves right before the elections. I guess with both major parties turning out useless and worthless, third front under the able leadership of CPM (another block of good for nothing fellows) seems to be getting to the government with OUTSIDE support of Congress. Then within two years Congress will remove the outside support and government will fall resulting in re-elections.
India definitely needs presidential style of govt like US but we are blind followers of our erstwhile masters the britishers so what ever system they have we just copy them... ONLY GOD (if there exists one for any religion) CAN NOW HELP INDIA in days to come
