BJP rejects EC's advice, Varun will contest poll is it not an act by selfstyled heroes- if any party need such type of speech, then ammendment in constitution is a must-do it. can they?
but any individual or organisation disobeys, disrespects the system must be banned.

you come & hear the roadside meetings of our local leaders.Since varun is a VIP it has blown out of picture. All wolves are same
I am really surprised by the way NDTV, CNN-IBN and Times Now upping the ante and projecting BJP . They are talking about moral and ethical issues in varun episode, wherein EC's order has to be respected by BJP, eventhough EC does'nt have any power and their advisory is not mandatory.
Agreed what Varun has said is wrong.
in the same why these ahameless people - Roys, Goswamis, Sardesais were sitting quiet when same issues were raised by Gopalswami. Even he too did'nt had any power to recommend the removal but what about the moral and ethical issues raised by him.If we compare both then navin Chawla should resign first and later Varun.
No single channel analysed the issues raised by CEC. All were hell bent upon the so called "timing".

I simply loved it when Nazma Heptullah told Barkha Dutt that what these reporters do by repeating something and making a mountain out of it, is not something commendable. I just missed the expression in that lady's face when she was told off like that.
And BTW, these reporters when they talk, sound no less than some fatwa-issuing mullah. The type of words they use are nothing to be proud of. And they think they can criticise others. How bitchy of them!

GREAT ANALYSIS, now a days I don't even open /watch Congress News Network/ NDTV for the crooks talking like Congress stooges !

The Congress nominated a man supposed to be a Nepalese citizen for the Parliament from Tezpur in Assam & the issue of his nationality has been dragging on for years with neither the CBI nor the Parliamentary Committee moving forward on the issue. Shocking of all is the Congress prty's decision to re-nominate the foreign national. It is public knowledge that he is the chief financier of the Congress in the North-East with his lottery business spanning the whole of the North-East & north Bengal .. Many magazines & TV stations have done a story on this ....
Re: Re: Ethical Issues
by aurora borealis on Mar 23, 2009 06:03 PM
That guy was a Nepalese milkman who has been retaining his status there for years. It's a known fact. But this is nothing new in the North East with the never-ending immigration and lakhs of Bangladeshi voters.
rightly said by sanghvi- MY EXPERIENCE N STUDY SAYS- All small parties are interested in power as long as possible- history says,Congress PMs proved it ALWAYS except 5YEARS OF VAJPAYEE THE GREAT. ALL EYEING ON CONGRESS NOW-FOR BACKING TO HAVE BERTHS IN CENTRE FOR 5YEARS-
THE GAME IS ON-CONGRESS DOESNT WANT TO BE REDUCED TO A WEAK IMAGE IN ANY STATE BY PRESENT GOVT. ALLIES.CONGRESS FIGHTS FOR BECOMING THESINGLE LARGEST PARTY.

It is quite interesting to see how three "baaps"-kunwara, tera and aapka-have conspired to call names to BJP!
Is there something fishy?!
Anyway! With whatever name you may like to ridicule the BJP, it is India's only hope against the impending muzlim takeover of India supported and facilitated by the Congi govt at the centre.
Re: Re: BJP
by aurora borealis on Mar 23, 2009 04:37 PM
The way they keep churning up new names...I wont be surprised if they chant BJP BJP in their dreams. Great going guys..keep that up.
Re: Re: BJP

Good One ! There wa sonly one non-gandhi congress PM who brought India in to development front, NArasinha Rao (whose body was not even allowed inside congress office when he died !), and the other GREAT LEADER VAJPEYI, who did what all these congress jokers couldn't do in last 60 yrs! Wake-up..all these xxxBaaps !
The current CEO is a BJP supporter - some Gopalaaswamy ... that guy has held Varun Gandhi guilty ... now BJP will call it unfair as if Chawla were the CEC and Varun was victim of a congress stooge in EC
Re: Re: Re: Guys, Chawla is NOT the CEC yet
by aurora borealis on Mar 23, 2009 04:37 PM
Dunno about BJP, but Jinnah seems to be the slogan of the day for a few stooges like you.
Neither it was not the EC's job to decide who should contest the polls nor the disgraceful television channel anchors as in NDTV to up the ante. Truth hurts...is it not? These days hate speach became the norm in friday prayers and churches making the whole generation as haters. These socalled seculars always harsh on soft targets by colluding with minorities.

Election Commission Job is to see that no body should try to garner votes by dividing people and by giving hate speeches .Election commission is nothing to do with as to what is being preeched in a Mosque or in a church. Those Bjp sympathiers poloticians who are praising Varun on his sppech why don't they themselves say like the one what varun has said in his speech. Answer is simple. BJP is using Varun to spread their Hate politics.

If Election commission is nothing to do with as to what is being preeched in a Mosque or in a church, then they must shutup on Varun. I guess he not filed nomination as of the day of speech!

what is the wrong by saying his view. Why not antualy was not removed from congress party.
Re: Moral code of conduct
by Loan Shark on Mar 23, 2009 03:32 PM
what's the advantage ? even when EC holds a BJP guy guilty of hate speech they still go ahead and field the candidate ... BJP can defy EC's advice ... so where is the whole point in having a moral code of conduct
Re: Re: Moral code of conduct
by Amit Muk on Mar 23, 2009 03:38 PM
we have to amend constitution and power should be given to EC so that it can throw candidate using caste/religion beehind bars.
look at BJP...they are so funny... all the time they say gandhis indulge in dynasty politics n today they are rallying behind a gandhi to get some cheap votes...what a hypocrisy...
Re: dynasty politics
by Shetty Sahab on Mar 23, 2009 03:23 PM
Very well said Khaja. Today BJP is depending on a Gandhi(Varun) to realise Advani's fast fading dream of becoming the PM. Remeber BJP and its supporters are trying to install a JINNAH Admirer as an Indian PM. BJP and its CHAMCHAS are traitors.
Re: Re: dynasty politics
by aurora borealis on Mar 23, 2009 04:45 PM
Lol..one more guy fantasizing about Jinnah...chill man. A little praise of the dead never harmed anyone. Keep your frustrations to yourself rather than calling names.
Re: Re: dynasty politics
by Loan Shark on Mar 23, 2009 03:43 PM
Varun G. will lose this time as congress is not fielding a candidate from pilibhit in favor of SP.
Last time Maneka G. won after polling only 37% valid votes due to vote splitting among congress, SP and BSP
