Varun Gandhi a novice fanatic
by Mallik Sharma on Mar 23, 2009 09:56 PM  | Hide replies

In my opinion Varun Gandhi is just a novice and fanatic. No mature person, let alone politician, would talk like that. Anyway EC has no business to ask him not to contest unless any disqualification order is passed after his guilt being established in the inquiry. At the most EC should have limited itself to censure and disapproval. In such circumstances BJP refusing to heed EC's suggestion is nothing wrong.
I hope Varun Gandhi would say sorry to Muslims and distinguish his hatred towards any Muslim terrorist from his attitude towards the ordinary, lawabiding Muslims. As Priyanka said neither Gita nor Koran would urge a person to go berserk (if only in words)like what Varun did. He is still behaving like a spoilt child.

John Travolta
India v/s Pakistan
by John Travolta on Mar 23, 2009 07:33 PM

Varun Gandhi is being criticised by a vast majority of Hindus proves that secularism has been pumped in our blood from a very young age. Contrast this with Pakistanis, they have been brainwashed into anti-Hindu and anti-India frrlings from a very young age. Their Primary & Secondary School History book is testimony to this.
So I dont think Pakistanis have any right to raise finger on Indians.

Fantastic

I did'nt know Varun Gandhi, and would not have known him if he has not got this publicity. The newspaper would have never written anything on his election speech if he had not spoken anything against Muslims. It all needs the timing, guts and cunning ability to attract people towards him and Varun Gandhi has done it perfectly.

Varun Gandhi has now become overnight hero and people now could lift him to the post of Prime Minister.

Muslims need not fear him, since the moment he becomes Prime Minister he will do a volta- face and will call Muslims his brothers. Because this is what politicians are.

And that could be a welcome sign too. After all no one gains anything by fighting amongst each other.

These dramas are part and parcel of politics.

YEH HAI RIGHT CHOICE BABY.

Retaining Varun is the right choice for both tactical as well as strategic reasons. Otherwise the traditional voters of the BJP would have deserted it without those now against it who would never have voted for it. Pilibhit will go to BJP this time. But if Varun is withdrawn, not only Pilibhit will go but it will show the BJP in bad light for being a Party that lets its own candidates down which will give a handle to its opponents to create dissensions in BJP and NDA. Nor will the BJP's opponents or NDTV and CNN-IBN call it a "secular" Party and give it any positive coverage. BUT VARUN MUST BE WARNED THAT HE MUST NEVER INDULGE IN ANY HATE SPEECHES AS A MATTER OF DECENCY AND PROPRIETY APART FROM FACING A HOSTILE GOVT.AND CEC.
Whether one accepts it or not, there are thousands of Muslims who vote for the BJP as they sincerely believe that they are not used as a vote bank only by it as the sham secular Parties have been doing for decades. After the 6 years of BJP rule at the Centre they have first hand experience that it is not an oppressive Party as alleged unlike the pseudo-secular parties who use them for electoral gains and then cast them aside for the next 5 years. The community has also learnt not to listen to their so-called religious leaders on whom to vote for and they also vote for local bread and butter issues which makes them vote differently. To think otherwise will not be judging them fairly as it is based on a lie that the sham secular.....(continued below)

parties have been coercing Muslims to believe in rousing and using fear of their safety and security as a manipulative key against the BJP.

IT is unfair of Rediff, if they do not provide us the evidences of the Non Hindu community allegating our Hindu religion and also forcing the uneducated youths and families to convert to their religion... Shame on them
