Time to encourage

We quite often express the idea of educated people joining politics...in such instances we should support our bit to ensure the mass knows about this. These people lose not because they do not qualify, but because the general mass is not aware of their thoughts and ability.

There should be a law made in India to grant leave to professionals and other highly educated people in India to contest the elections, and if they win, during the tenure of their term. This will encourage more and more educated and efficient men and women to enter the realm of politics, so far the prerorgative of the otherwise failed lot. Can the media campaign for this privilege?

What makes you think educated are not corrupt? What do you think happened with Satyam? Look at Nixon and all other scandals in the developed world where the people voted in power were educated.
Educated means squat unless you have empathy. Most of these so-called professionals are psychopaths and are completely disconnected from the surrounding polity. This Sanyal chick is one such person. I bet she has no clue about Maharashtra or marathi culture. Or let alone bhaiji culture. The chick is a liberal with no connection to the real india.

I just want to ask one question? Are u Indian? If yes, the one more question, are u Marathi. If you are then you have no clue of Indian or Marathi culture. See the word 'chick' that is used for her. It no way makes me feel proud of being Marathi.

If you are not an Indian then better be quiet about our culture and sub cultures.

Well, educated people are anytime better than uneducated when it comes to governance. But when we have all educated we need to evaluate, let her first win and then only you evaluate.

Dear Meera Sanyal,
Wish you all the best. Bring some sense to politics in India, some light to the lives of poor and some smile on the face of the disappointed moderate professionals.

Superb!

Its heartening to see an educated professional to rise up to the occasion and try to take the reigns in her hands in this hour of need. I wish Ms Sanyal good luck and hope she comes out triumphant in this battle of elections.
