Both parties took advise from karan & ekta because they both love movies & serials starting with alphabet "K". Karnataka also starts from alphabet "K". May be this is the reason behind this.

If you check the history, the lady folks of India never wore tops before British army stepped in. Yes, you heard it right, our ladies didnt know how to wear tops or blouses and they were confined to their houses. Get educated my dear.

I am well educated than you dear. But i did not understand the logic behind bring history into my quote. I simply said about ekta & karan how you brought this britishers into it? I think you need to read my quote correctly or need glasses to read it?
Pubs, cricket and jeans for ladies should be banned as they are against hindoo culture. thank god for the SRS - only true protector of the hind00s in the south.
Re: Ban Pub, Cricket and jeans for ladies
by m m on Mar 20, 2009 05:22 PM
Yes. And promote 10 yards sarees that will cover them from head to toe as per Hindu custom. Let women walk behind men and never come in front of men even at home. Let them only be in kitchen and not work in offices.Better if they do not go to school and if we can get them married when young. And men follow SRS chief Pramod Muthalik’s (known as Karnataka's Togadia) policy of remaining a bachelor to save our country.

You are 100% correct.Only the people from other than south India were spoiling the culture.they should be advised not to do so.

You are 100% correct ... sadly it is percolating to the average South Indian ...bloody northerners & bongis
Renuka Choudhary gave a call to all girls to fill pubs with her slogan pub bharo. In all fairness and true to herself, Renuka should have asked her daughters to lead the campaigns, visit the clubs, flirt with men and have abundance of drinks, which she conveniently did not do. She wanted others' daughters to do this for her. Politics is different from real life for these nasty politicians. See tha DMK and other leadership of TN. They campaign for Tamil and ask parents to compulsorily make their children study in Tamil medium, but at the same time send their own kith and kin to English medium schools and even harvard. K. I'm happy to know from you that before BJP govt came in May 2008, there was no corruption in Karnataka !!!

People of Karnataka are very cultured ,especially Mangalore & Udupi people. Now uncultured North Indian,Bengali & Mallu females are spoiling our culture..I salute Sri Ram Sene & Bajranga dal for their best effort to restore the lost glory.

I agree, the students from all over india who study in Mangalore/Udupi region flood the pubs. Localites remain shy from pubs.

Chiplunkar, as his name suggests is only a frog in a small pond. What he knows about the culture of others in a great country like India. Come out of the pond first, see and then pass remarks on such issues. You may be talking about the culture you are at home. Keep it up.

All these students remain away from families and do whatever they like with thier father's illgotten money.Same is case with foriegn students coming from highly conservative countries.they should live according to local culture.
I know this message will be deleted by the moderator but still i write so that at least the journalist Mr.Vicky Nanjappa will cross check facts before publishing on rediff."She particularly considered Karnataka as a lucky as she made her come back into politics after she contested the Bellary seat." When did Mrs.Indira Gandhi contest from bellary, in 1980 apart from rae bareili she contested from medak in andhra pradesh. Journalists are also human beings, they can have their biases but not to the extent of fudging history.
