The Congress-led ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) might keep power in India after the 2009 general elections, one of the very first polls published by Hindi national daily, Nai Duniya, said on Sunday.
According to the paper, the ruling government is most likely to return to power, as nearly most of the people interviewed believe that the current government has lived up to promises it made when it came to power in 2004.
While 46 percent of the polled said UPA will keep power, 14 percent are uncertain about UPA's future. The remaining 40 percent people believed the chances of UPA returning to power may not be small. Essential issues about which the poll was conducted included water and electricity supply, road network and terrorism.
The poll was held between March 15 and 20 in rural and urban areas of most of central, northern, western and eastern India.
While 40 percent people believed that terrorism was a main issue this time round in elections, 26 percent people said recession was an important issue.
However, 67 percent said electricity, water and roads remained on top of the agenda.
I have no personal complain against Sonia. since she is much more decent person than many of our criminal polticians. But her policy of making communist happy and stoping the privatisation and globalisation was very costly for india's growth. we need brave leader who can stick to national interest, no matter what. we dont want one who want to rule for 5 years some how, even at the cost of our growth. Our economic growth is like oxygen, we cant survive without it. we need millions of pvt job created every year and that can happen only if we have brave leader at center not the one who only talk goody goody
Varun is the first Gandy ( named changed to Gandhi ) with a spine. He had the guts to call a spade a spade. He should be salued for leaving the unpatrotic and anti national Congress.
the nationalist party does not know what is the configuration our National Flag. Maharashtra bjp has displayed our national flag without Ashok Chakra. What national party is this?
Varun dusnt have any guts.He said all this infront of his supporters in some small town."Jab maut aayi toh sheher(delhi) kee taraf bhaag gaya - gidhad". And now he denies the statement cose he is afraid now.If he had courage he shud have said this in any of big towns or any of 4 metros. He wud have gone home disfigured, not becose anynone from other community, but he wud have got bashed by people from his own community.Varun abhi bachhaa hai. This boy dusnt know wot he is talking.Ek kaan ke neeche khaayegaa sab netaagiri sussu mein nikal jaayegi.

People who are fed up of reading news on biased / secular wesites. Good news... Read dailypioneer something which will give a right view point to all issues including Varun's speech
BJP is political party, playing politics. Why should Election commission, PM, CM(Mayavati) Play politics. Whether varun gandhi's speech will spread communal violence. IT IS ALL DREAMS OF TERROR AGENTS. It is Indian constitutional system sponsoring communalism on the name of Secularism and Religious Minorities.

CEC N Gopalaswami has already said it is for Varun to prove that the CD has been tampered with.
The person who recorded this tape should come forward and hand over the original camera to the authorities. If those tapes are found to be real and contain inflammatory parts, the law should be allowed to take its course and Varun Gandhi should apologize for use of intermperate comments.

it could be digital recording on a flash drive or something similar ... so no tapes may have been used
BJP leadership has not even once called the CD doctored ... they believe that varun said so and so have disclaimed responsibility for what varun said but have not said that the CD has been tampered with

If no original recording is provided, then we have to believe Varun Gandhi's word that he did not use word ..uslim...
Case should be closed. Burden of proof is with the CEC and not Varun Gandhi. India is not a dictatorship yet.

BJP leadership has not once said that the CD has been tampered with. They know that Varun is lying about the tampering of CD, and they do not want the party to carry the burden of Varun's lies.

EC fully believes that the CD is not doctored and, therefore, will not get involved in the forensic test of CDs. CEC N Gopalaswami has already said it is for Varun to prove that the CD has been tampered with.
