MOdi and VArun
by vijay patel on Mar 20, 2009 04:33 PM  | Hide replies

VArun is trying to copy MOdi. Its a cheap way to get publicity

Modi has not been able to convict Godhra culprits. After seven years, he has still not filed any case against them. High Court has told him to withdraw POTO case, since there is no evidence against them. Supreme Court will relase them.

Its time we bring in Congress. Congress works hard to convicts criminals like Afzal Guru and Kasab. They have succesfully prosecuted them. We need such strong parties who work for India and not for cheap pubblicity

It is because of people like you and with such ideas that the country is on verge of going to DOGS.
As an Indian and as a Hindu how can you object to someone who says he intends to protect Hinduism against the muzlim onslaught.
Please wake up and have some feeling for the country you are born.
Secondly get over the amnesia! You are saying bring the Cong! The damn Cong is already there! What more do you want?!
The nation wants to get rid of muzlim cong this time permanently and effectively.

varun should be tactful like the congress

cngress is the most media savvy party. they will do exactly like the bjp, but they have been masters of real politik, and add to it a dash of media savviness. if people like varun can shoot their own foot, they simply deserve it.

If it should please some people, then let it be so - though I am generally averse to floowing such dictates.

First, there is no logical proof for the existence of God - even the followers of the Charvaka (an ancient Hindu sage) said this long ago.

Second, I feel nothing but contempt for those who live by religious practices.

Third, I have equal contempt for those who choose to make personal attacks - like some self-styled guardians in this space!!

Mr JGN - have you ever read "Utsa Manush" publications? If you have, you may have some ideas about the Charvak ideology!

What do you mean logical proof and define what you mean by "God" ? because your definition may be flawed or the logic or both.

And dont site some books site your own thinking.

Define logic and God first. Chances are that your concepts may be unclear.

Did I ever look eager to do such things? I only said, and continue to say, that I have deep dislike for the Hindutva politics. And I also dislike those who spread hate campaigns (like the one which tells us not to give our daughters in marriage to Muslims).

'Necessity of Atheism' - this was also the name of a book written by the famous English poet P.B. Shelley, for writihg which he was thrown out of Cambridge University. Indeed, almost all religions of the world are impatient of logical arguments.

Why do you have to go to some obscure books? Even Gautama the Buddha did not beleive in any god (though his followers have now made him their god)!!

Are you telling us that there are some "illgical proof" for the existence of some god?

The Paradise stocked with abundant supply of wine, women, water, fruits, etc existed only in the fertile imagination of some sur-realistic visionaries. Nobody has come back after death to tell the stories in heaven/hell. The so-called holy books are no more serious than Gulliver's Travels or Aseop's Fables.

I do not think that this board deals with the theory and academic research regarding atheism. I may dwell on such issues in an appropriate place and an appropriate hour. I only said the above things to respond to your challenge - though that was in a bad taste.

Haramohan Roy, pl write here that there is no proof for the existence of any g0d. Then I will beleive that you are an atheist. Also write no re1igion is better than the other. No re1igion has ever stopped people from committing crimes.
