Biased Media
by rohit Rj on Mar 18, 2009 11:34 PM  | Hide replies

Indian media is totally biased, they r trying to fool the people by showing these clips again and again, where varun gandhi is speaking anti muslim, but actually what he is saying is against the terrorists, and not against all the muslims, there r lot other people like bukhari and Antuley who speaks lot against the hindus but still they r not given such coverage as given to varun gandhi right now. Media has lot of double standards, especially NDTV, Times Now, there is a clear verdict in front of the country to vote for BJP, but still these media channels try to run the news all day that is against the BJP. People of India please caste your vote for BJP, everybody will be safe and secure for next 5 years, watever varun gandhi has said that is against the terrorists and not against the muslims.

Anti-national Congress and its anti-national B team- the Left
by Fried Yakov on Mar 18, 2009 11:27 PM  | Hide replies

The Congress is the most anti-national political party in the history of the country. It has destroyed the security and the soverignity of the country, institutionalised corporate greed and corruption, engineered an economic debacle and bartered away common peoples lives for vote bank politics. MMS as PM is the worst, I repeat worst misfortune to have befallen the country after independence.

dileep kumar.i am a software engineer. and a citizen of madhya pradesh.man we have seen the work of SHIVRAJ SINGH CHOUHAN the CM of MP.despite being all the odds including natural disasters like draught he has done a great job.and i think no other leader in india is equal to his standards not even narendra modi.
we are now expecting alot from him.if he fullfill these expectation that will be great otherwise we will defeat him in the next election by not giving the vote.and i will wish that he would be beaten by shoes.
however it looks that he will do a great job and that is why we should give him a chance by voting for bjp in loksabha.

although all parties and leaders are very bad.but we dont have any other option than BJP at present.
so we all should vote for BJP .this is the only promising party right now

As a software engineer and very obviously a member of the middle class, you remain in your comfort zone of identifying yourselves with one of the 'right-of-centre' parties such as the BJP. You are comfortable with it because you perceive similarities between what you aspire and what parties such as the BJP (to many others of the middle class; it is the Congress) appear to promise to bring about in the coming years.

Now, the middle class is reportedly a fast growing segment in India - at least that is what the public in general has been indoctrinated by much of the Indian media to believe. However, even if one were to grant that the middle class (not all sections of which are pro 'right-of-centre') has indeed reached the strength of 20 percent or thereabouts of the Indian population (which is again highly contestable if one were to seriously analyse all statistics available), the aspirations referred to cannot be termed as the aspirations of Indians in general - for the simple reason that the middle class is still a not so large minority. The aspirations of greater India palpably remain the same today as what they were decades ago - improvement in the basic markers of life in a very underdeveloped country. Shorn of the small segment that has reaped sizable benefits from the supposed 'boom' that has happened over the past two decades, India remains a nation of citizens for whom two square meals and a stable roof to sleep under each day form the biggest jump in development!

Prakash Carrot's Dream
by apoorva bodake on Mar 18, 2009 11:12 PM  | Hide replies

Prakash Karat (PK) is the best candidate for PM's post. He must be dreaming to get rid of capitalism from the world. He wants to become a new avatar of Karl Marx. Mr.PK should first introspect the development, poverty, social problems, unemployment etc. in his domain state of W.B. and then talk about the forming or joining a govt at the centre with Communist Agenda. Mr. Pk, just beware that this country cannot follow China or erstwhile USSR as you are dreaming.

Communists are pretending as if there is an offer for them from Third front to join the government. In reality even if the third front gets a significant number of MPs after election, they will tie-up with either BJP or the Congress to form the government. The communists to save face will say they are providing outside support to keep Congress ( or the BJP as the case may be ) out of power. They did that in 1989 ( supported VP singh with BJP ) and in 1998 ( Devegowda with Congress ) And the reason will be to save the country from American imperialism ( if they tie up with BJP ) or from communal forces ( if the tie up is with Congress)

In reality, no party gives much weightage to communists but they survive in India only because of media hype

How many seats will the Left get this time? They will be down by 7 in West Bengal, and down by at least 10 in Kerala. So, 17 down in all - even if they manage 2 or 3 extra from Andhra, Orissa or Tamil Nadu - they will be at lear down by 14 compared to 2004 tally!

Power without responsibility

Left wants to play a safe role. It wants to be in the backseat driving poisition. It did so despite participating in UPA but not sitting in Chair. If it sits in Chair it is answerable., Otherwise it is not answerable but at the same time it can dictate the governance. That is the reason it escaped any responsibility for price rise although it happened right under its nose. Let God alone save the Country and commonman.

Yes, at least they are able to resist themselves from looting Govt. money by not joining govt.
Is there any other political party to resist itself from joing Govt.
