BJP has the right leaders
by rohit Rj on Mar 17, 2009 04:29 PM

In the current scenario BJP is the only party that has the right kind of leaders for leading the country. Lalu has already shown congress its true value in Bihar, by giving them not more than 3 seats. Voting for these regional parties won't solve the problem as they don't have a genuine agenda, what they know is they don't want congress or the BJP. People r smart enough, BJP is the only party that will come to power with complete majority.

Vote for 3rd Front
by M suresh on Mar 17, 2009 04:16 PM

We have seen both Congress and BJP governments which are pro-rich and totally neglected common man. Let us give chance this time to 3rd front, leftiest parties they may do good for common man. Congress is the biggest enemy of third front. Let us root out Congress from bad politics like Musle power and Money power. That party is the basic culprit for bad politics, let us give a big lession for family ruled CHRISTIAN party.

Sheila Began is a Congress Stooge
by srinivasan mv on Mar 17, 2009 03:45 PM  | Hide replies

Sheila Began always write so great about the Congress rule. NREGS is a failure that is what the CAG says. Some Rs. 50,000 crores is not accounted. Instead of having this NREGS, they can increase the minimum support price. It will lessen corruption by the intermediate Congress goons. No concrete work is completed under NREGP scheme.

Sheila has written about the NEw York writer. IS he her brother?

There are so many Congressmen who are stupids, even Cabinet Ministers. The UPA Government is the worst government in Indian history. Most of the foundation work was done by NDA and is even half completed by UPA. For which they are gaining name.

Sheila Bhatt is finding fault with small things of NDA and the BSP. BSP is known for their clever politics and winning ways. But BJP lacks the marketing ability and media attraction unlike the Italian mafia. Workwise, NDA rule was much better and oriented India towards becoming a World Power.

Sheila bhatt, should open her eyes before writing. God bless her.

Re: BJP's IT vision
by Abdul Jabbaar on Mar 17, 2009 03:37 PM
• National e-Governance Plan to cover every Government office from the Centre to the Panchayats. The ‘E Gram Vishwa Gram’ scheme, launched by Shri Narendra Modi in Gujarat, to be implemented nationwide.
• Government spending to be made corruption-free. A former Prime Minister had once said, “If I put Rs. 100 in the pipeline in Delhi, only Rs. 15 reach the end beneficiary.” In contrast to Congress governments’ Leaky Pipeline, the BJP’s IT Pipeline will ensure 100% benefit to people. Those who misappropriate public funds will be punished.
• All post offices to be converted into IT-enabled Multi-Service Outlets. All telephone booths to be upgraded to Internet kiosks.
• Citizens will have a simple 1-800 BSNL Toll Free Number, which will be accessible 24x7x 365 days of the year, to contact their Member of Parliament.
• Unlimited VoIP access to all
• e-Bhasha: National Mission for Promotion of IT in Indian Languages.
• Special focus to bring women, SC/STs, OBCs and other weaker sections of society within the ambit of IT-enabled development.
• Use of IT for the protection of India’s priceless cultural and artistic heritage.
• Government to standardise on ‘open standard’ and ‘open source’ software.
• Domestic IT hardware industry to be aggressively promoted to minimise dependence on imports.
• Domestic hosting industry to be promoted to minimise international bandwith charges.
• An independent body, Digital Security Agency (DSA), to be set up for cyber warfare,

Indian Reporters-Be Patriotic-Be Independent-India is the onlyGOD
by Sumit on Mar 17, 2009 02:07 PM

India is looked down upon as a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY in every other country even after 60 years of independence!Whose fault it is??????
If successive Govt's give lame excuses like overpopulation is the problem, illiteracy is the problem, whose job is it to curb such problems????
I dont understand, why not a single reporter has the guts to stand up and raise voices against social malpractices like overpopulation, rampant corruption, illiteracy, criminalisation of politics, caste based and region based opportunistic politics!
I find no newspaper or media company that works on nationalistic lines. The reporters have no ethics, they just follow the reporting requirements set by their employers, all of whom are affiliated with some corrupt or anti-national organisation. Thus losing independence and credibility in reporting.
Whats there to fear reporters.Come out and be brave.Report honestly and independently.Where are newspapers like Vande Mataram, which shook the British Empire at its very roots?????

If you want to be immortal,be nationalistic,be independent. If that requires you to quit your employers do it.Generations would honours you.
