HAS BOLLYWOOD GOT GUTS TO STOP CONVERSION
by Lopesh S on Apr 30, 2009 06:28 PM

After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

I feel very concern regarding the current state of our country.Today is the 3rd phase and one must vote 4 the change in the systeam. BJP led NDA was far good then this Congress UPA which ruled the government alike there is not a decisive Prime minister. Even not a good government at all. what is this for world's largest Democratic government? Is this not appalling?Let us play the role of true citizen and make ourselves proud 4 our country.

Congress vs. BJP
by Deviprasad on Apr 30, 2009 03:28 PM

CONGRESS:
Even after more 50 years of Congress rule 70% Indian are poor and donot have social security.
Biggest Defence scam - Bofors by Gandhi family.
Check the food prices at present in compare to 3 years back, common man is finding problem for day to day living.
Congress is not Secular, because of it's minor appeasement programs.
Congress is soft on Terrorists, Price Rise, Corruption.

BJP: BJP ruled states are developing and well governed.
Vajpayee's 6 years regime was a good govenment for Nation's development and check on food price rises for all Indian citizens.
BJP is not against any religion and if talks to bulid Ram Temple or protection of Hindus, it doesnot mean Communal. If Congress & SP supports Muslimpeople then they are secular. Media is biased.BJP is for all regilions & castes. BJP never divide people based on caste like Congress, BSP and SP.

FOR NATION's all round Devlopment & UNITY, VOTE FOR BJP
JAI HIND JAI BHARAT

Everyone is citizen of India. And everyone is equal in democratic state. Why you are giving priority to some people when they do the same thing like others.

BE AWARE
by Aniruddha on Apr 30, 2009 01:20 PM  | Hide replies

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the
1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling
booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the
presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly
notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if
a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has
received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be
cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the
candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot
contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their
decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look
for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would
change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly
surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a
feature to the public....

Please spread this news to as many as you know... Seems to be a
wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your
power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more
powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance. So either vote,
or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on...

"Please forward this mail to as many as possible,
