Is it not fascinating that someone obtaining a M.Ph degree from Cambridge would produce his Certificate in a press conference and bury the controversy. What does this derailed boy do: HE PRODUCES A LETTER AS A VERIFICATION. Readers, go to this link where you will be availed of a letter from Cambridge where a certain Raul Vinci studied for M.Phil in development studies in 2004

exactly. notice cambridge has made political statement in the stated letter, which is very unusual for any university.
In a letter to Gandhi, Vice-Chancellor Prof Alison Richard said, she regretted the recent controversy in India over his qualifications and clarified that he was a student at Trinity College from October 1994 to July 1995.
So is Cambridge saying that they award MPhil degrees to people who just study there for 10 months as claimed or is it another case of bribery and cover-up.

Great point. I have not seen a major university giving a Master's degree in 1 year- unless it is a Micky Mouse University. Perhaps Cambridge is one. The Vice Chancellor, Allison Richard is also a nut job, she has fluff studies for her Ph.D.
In other words, anyone with lots of monmey, and a last name Gandhi can get degrees from Cambridge.
More than the public, it is Rahul that is most surprised to learn that he has received a degree from Cambridge. He has his godfather Quotracchi and some highly 'ethical' board member in Cambridge to thank for.
If the bove report is correct, it is not surprising. Cambridge, like their American counterpart Harvard, is known for pandering to the rich and famous. They have one set of rules and requirements for the rich and influential, and another set for the common man. They are known to accept large donations (VERY large) in return for granting admissions and degrees.

In fact Rahul Gandhi had gone to Harvard on donors quota.
Hinduja's had donated $15 millions to Harvard. So he was sent to harvard on donors(Hinduja) quota. Could not survive for three months and had to drop out.
Not that degrees are a barometer for how smart one is, but he is pretty dim in non-academic way as well!
