Why Indians are QUITTING only Hinduism and not other religions?
by New York on Apr 29, 2009 07:41 AM

Hinduism is a COVERT mask for Casteism which intrinsically seeds HATRED in your Children (e.g.Varun Gandhi).
Hinduism is a hierarchical (not groups) based irrational system of keeping one CASTE (Brahmins?) over everyone else.

In America there is no system in place today that forces people to remain separate or keeps one class subservient to another.
If you were born the son of a street sweeper, but excelled, you could become a doctor or lawyer or some celebrity or entrepreneur - and at the same time you would be fully accepted by your peers.

Not so in India. The caste system freezes everyone in place. It is extremely difficult - almost impossible - for someone from the lowest caste to rise in education and social status.

A Dalit would never be allowed to marry into one of the higher castes and would never be accepted as an equal.
And for a Dalit to make it into MEDICAL school or opening a RESTAURANT or become a PRIEST in a temple or become a member of high SOCIETY in India is very rare indeed.
Only by escaping from the grasp of Hinduism do they have much of a chance.

Finally the SOLUTION is you must only vote for candidates from your CASTE till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH.

Caste was not factorBefore the british rule in india
by sivasubramanian on Apr 28, 2009 05:02 PM  | Hide replies

In indian system before british there is no such things like lower caste and higher caste,
there was only ruling and working class,Zamindar and workers.
Only after independece because of Dr.Ambedkar concept some section were considered as lower caste and were given priority in job and other areas of power,Simillarly the the temple servent of Zamindar started claiming as inteligent and started cornering the jobs for their group, during british regime itself and they become extreamly greedy to corner the jobs for themselves,Then started Vaishiya etc,
So for info caste started only after the british came to power and hen Kshatryas were defeated.Hindu religion is not casteist as Ambedkar pictured,
So actual casteism started with Ambedkar, and temple servent,
So we all those abusing the OBc were the rulers of those time and were implementing the unbaised social system earlier.
Even with adivassi they are proud warrior for their territory.
Now in modern days every thing mistaken for caste.Temple servant or palalce servant, both were servant of Maharajas,Then how come temple servant is high caste than thev palace servant.
Because some temple servant got position like judges in English rule they started caliming they are high caste so hindu religion was never casteist, Only power crazy people splitted in the mname of caste.Actually OBC are the rael sufferers.
Will india change?
Or else all region has to be indepenendent like before/during british.

India used to boast about unity in diversity
by Bharat Soni on Apr 27, 2009 07:47 PM  | Hide replies

What just happened to India. We were proud of our unity in diversity. Now it is almost like not existent in our country. We either see a person as Brahmin, dalit, kshatriya, muslim, christian or as Gujju, madrasi, marathi, mallu. All these divisions started to appear after BJP and Shivsena came into picture. Would the generations to come ever forgive us for allowing parties like BJP to divide our country ?

Mr. Sharat,

You said that these division appears after BJP come in picture. I think you should further anyalyse how BJP become prominent. That is becasue of psuedo secular politics of Congress. For long they have been doing discrimination against hindus in favour of minority for vote bank politics. If they would have really been secular, BJP would have never grew at all.

WHAT IS OUR CHOICE AMONG INDIA'S FOUR CURSES?
by Red on Apr 27, 2009 05:59 PM

1. BJP & SANGH PARIVAR ASSOCIATES:
In the name of preserving Hindutva, they divide people through violence and moral policing.Brahmins lead this wagon and do not consider other hindus as equals. The good point is they are true nationalists but lack intellectual depth and diplomacy.

2. CONGRESS I and SICKULAR PARTIES:
In the name of secularism, they favour minorities and sideline the majority hindus to the sidelines. They were responsible for India's partition and subsequent loss of Indian land to Pakistan, China and Bangladesh. Always subservient to the western countries and never believe in the strength of India.

3. LEFT PARTIES: CPI, CPIM, Forward Bloc etc
In the name of communism, socialism, they are the most anti-nationalistic and opportunistic forces. They openly support China against India's interests. They have caused huge security concerns for India by allowing Bangladeshi refugees and providing them voting rights. They have penetrated most educational institutions including the IIMs to influence their outdated thoughts.

4. REGIONAL PARTIES: MNS, TDP, DMK, AIADMK, PMK, PDP, NC, Shiv Sena, etc
They are the protectors of regional people and destroyers of the Indian nation. They resort to violence to achieve prominence (like MNS now). They don't fit the central government model.

What choice do we have?

prof Ashutosh Varshney is giving multiple casreist and sectarian
by D goel on Apr 27, 2009 05:20 PM

D. Goel ,Pkl. afternoon 5.20pm,Monday, 27th April, 2009.
Professor Ashutosh Varshney is a tenured American academic.I bwelieve like most American professors he sojourns to his area of special expertise periodically ,andas consequence produces works of scholarship about indian diversities, Federalism and Power arbitraments . Empirical social science believes in making Mountains out of scanty surveys of election data.Professor Varshney is bugged to say something smart about diversity in diversities of India.
all it amounts is that it is neither caste , nor tribe nor regional speech ,nor creed nor absolute poverty that would determine the political battles in Indian federal Polity.
It is a great discovery that Muslims Dalits and backwards are asking forgreater fingwer in the power Pie, now ,in most of Gangetic Belt as they have already secured sufficient clout some decades back in territories south of Vindhyas , The great NARRATIVES OF INDIA ARE CONSEQUENTLY GOING TO BE replaced by many little local caste clusters quest for anointments. This Truth is what a common man could reach without of course Professorial flourishes..D. Goel
