Plese do not forget that Mr Ansari of Ahmedabad rehabilitated by West Benagal after 2002 riots returned and settled in Ahmedabad. If insecured, how he would come back leaving west Bengal where he got home and he was doing business. Muslims are equally secured in Gujarat and they are prospering.

I am not a BJP supporter but Modi and Vajpayee are decent leaders compared to rest like Advani,Togadia etc .Modi developed Gujarat well atleast .He proved himself secular by demolishing temples for roads

Ashwin.... All leaders with RSS backgrounds are superb. I gave you a list yesterday of EX RSS members who went to become some of the best leaders in India. Advani is one of them, also remember, this time around Advani is PM candidate as the RSS feels he should lead the country thru. this difficult times. BTW,Advani in an interview to Barkha clearly said, that he has resigned to retire from the party in 2004, his resignation was not accepted by the party.See that interview on NDTV website, it came last week on TV.

You believe the resignation nautanki? You childish can you be! Advani is the most power hungry geriatric - old man in a hurry. He failed TOTALLY as a Home Minister. He comes out as an intellectual, but in fact he is indeed very crafty and foxy. The way he praised Jinnah was shocking and painful. He has not apologized or taken back his words - till date! In his autobiography, he says he still stands by those statements. BJP should dump him and give chance to the younger lot.
