President's rule necessary in WB
by Jay Sen on Apr 25, 2009 01:12 AM

The CPIM goons are now getting a taste of their own medicine. I dont know the background of the two leaders killed, but this enemy elimination culture was perpetrated systemaically by the CPM only - over 30 years in WB.

On the surface, all seems quite peaceful in WB - vis-a-vis states like Bihar or UP. But beneath the surface, there is a virtual reign of terror unleashed by the CPM in rural and semi-urban WB.

The situation is so bad - that in many cases, supporters of non-Left parties have been killed or terrorised out of their villages or localities.

The police, administration and bereaucracy have all been "converted" or have resigned to Left rule. For their own survival and sustenance, these entities completely toe the CPM line.

WB can ONLY progress and leapfrog into the national scene only with President's rule. At least some lawlessness will be eliminated.

i thought both Communists and maoists belong to the same party/ideology. How come they r killin gthier own party members. I suppose congress/ Mamata are playing politics to eliminate the great communitsts from WB.
